Hello All, I have Polycom IP 500 phones which I would like to have message waiting indicators on. So far, I have my system running well but the problem I am seeing is that MWI doesn't seem to tell my phone that it should display a MWI state. The light does not show when you have message nor is there any indicator on the text lines of a message waiting. The wiki doesn't cover this

We are having an issue that I have been unable to figure out how to resolve. I think its related to the Polycom Phones and not the Asterisk configuration, but I'm not positive. We have several Polycom 500/501/601's on both a LAN and at employee homes. The problem we are having is if our internet connection goes down the Local LAN phones loose their connection to the Asterisk Server.

Of the people in here that have hinting working with the polycom 601's (or any phone for that matter)... do you have it working so that the shared line appearance shows that there's someone on the phone? Hi all, When moving from a self compiled Asterisk 13.23.1 to Asterisk 13.24.0, has resulted in a MWI clearing delay of around 5 minutes. After listening to a voicemail and deleting it, the Polycom VVX 601's MWI light is left on for around five minutes, before clearing. Installing Asterisk 13.24.1 did not fix this.
