Recode function car package erases previous values
Hi all, I am attempting to create a new variable based on values of other variables. The variable is called pharm. It basically takes the numeric code of 1 as yes and 0 to be No from the variable B20_C1 (a question on a survey). However, I would also like to have a level for non-respondents and these are captured in the variable nr.B20C, which is a 1 when there is a non-response on the whole group

Questions about saving output files and popup
Hi all: After calculating in R I want to show the answer and some explanations not graphic plots in another new device and then save it as txt.file. However, I couldn't find any package or command to do it yet. I know some commands about generating graphics on different types of display or printing device. ex : windows(), postscript(), pdf() and etc. But these all works for graphic plots,

remove rows of a matrix by part of its row name
Hello, Please always cc the list. As for the question, yes, it does. If you want to remove just the ones with exactly 73.1 use the pattern grep("^73\\.1$", etc) Explanation: Beginning of string: ^ End of string: $ Escape special characters: \\ (needed because the period is a special character.) Hope this helps, Rui Barradas On 5/22/2018 12:50 PM, Ahmed Serag wrote: > Thank

Robust variance estimation with rq (failure of the bootstrap?)
I am fitting quantile regression models using data collected from a sample of 124 patients. When modeling cross-sectional associations, I have noticed that nonparametric bootstrap estimates of the variances of parameter estimates are much greater in magnitude than the empirical Huber estimates derived using summary.rq's "nid" option. The outcome variable is severely skewed, and I am

TDM400P hangup / ringing detection problem
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi!. I am having problems with getting asterisk to detect when someone hangs up. I have a TDM400P with one FXO module connected to my telco, and also a FXS-module connected to my phone. The FXS-module detects hangups just fine, but I can't get the FXO to detect them. I am pretty sure i have disconnect supervision on my phoneline since when I

can a TDM400P FXS drop voltage on hangup?
I thought I had posted this, but I didn't see it in the archives, so I guess I hadn't. I've got FXS lines going to a legacy IVR. When I Dial into one of these lines and then hang up, FXS plays the Congestion tone until the IVR drops voltage. I would like the IVR to hang up sooner. I could do this by either making the IVR recognize the standard Congestion tone, or changing the

TDM400P FXO - Any one got it working well in UK without Hangup problems
Hi Guys, I recently got a TDM400P 4 FXO for use in the UK, this at the time seemed like a good idea as I had good results with an X100P clone. Installation went great and call clarity is excellent no echo like I had on the clone card. My problems start with detecting hanging up the line. If a person calls into the system and speaks to me on a SIP phone when I hang up the call clears

Telco is not detecting HangUp w/ TDM400P
Hi guys, I spent a couple of hours in Google, but the problem appears to be uncommon, so I'd like to ask about it here. The problem is exactly the opposite to "Asterisk does not detect FXO hangup". In my case it's the Telco who does not appear to be detecting Asterisk's hangups. Telco is Telus in Vancouver, Canada. The setup is very simple - Telco -> FXO/TDM400p

Detecting hangup - TDM400P / X100P
I've searched the Wiki and this forum with little success. I have a TDM400P in my server which functions fine. Except it will continue ringing about 3 times after hangup. I.e. it's failing to detect the hangup tone. I was previously running a Sipura 3000 and had the same issue. After researching and some timely assistance I was able to determine the hangup tones applicable to

FW: Sip codec preferences
Did anyone have a way to make codec negotiation work with Asterisk? This is something I would love to have working as well. I won't need PSTN -> G729 mixing. Just SIP -> SIP using G729 for calling remote offices via VPN, but everything else use G711. -----Original Message----- From: Brancaleoni Matteo [mailto:mbrancaleoni@espia.it] Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2003 11:32 AM To:

Summary re: read.table on Mac OS 10
Thanks to all who responded. Not all of the advice helped me with that particular problem, but, I have learned a lot just from your answers. 1. R for Mac 10 (Carbon version) uses the Mac convention of using ":" for the usual Unix "/" and thanks to Dr. Lumley for that since I'm new to R, Mac10, Macs in general, and Unix. 2. Interestingly, Dr. Ripley suggested to

TDM400P not detecting hangup and not hanging up.
Can anyone suggest where I might begin looking for an answer please? I have just installed a TDM400P (2x FXS and 1x FXO modules installed) The first problem is that it does not seem to be able to detect if the remote party has hung up when a call comes through on the FXO. For example, if someone calls in, and then hangs up at any time after it starts ringing, Asterisk carries on as though the

loess coefficients output
May I inquire about how to obtain the coefficients from a loess fit of multiple covariates? I have tried terms and coef, but it does not provide me with the coefficients to identify the terms of the entire regression equation. Many thanks Paul -- Paul R. Hutson, Pharm.D.
