Error compiling zaptel 1.4.0
Hi all, I decided the best way to get to know * well is to do it from scratch. Having read the majority of the "Asterisk: The Future of Telephony" I am now attempting to compile zaptel 1.4.0 and am receving the very same series of errors mentioned in this post on the forums: http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php?t=13619&highlight=zaptel1+++zttranscode++error However, there has

Busy not jumping n + 101 anymore
I recently upgraded my Asterisk system to the latest CVS-HEAD Asterisk CVS HEAD built by bill@localhost on a i686 running Linux on 2005-10-12 13:34:09 UTC Ever since this upgrade, the system is jumping n+101 if it gets a busy on a Dial command, it is now proceeding to the next priority (n+1) Has something changed with this? Is there a way to change it back? Thanks, Bill --------------

zaptel-1.4.0-beta2 Getting it to compile on Fedora Core 6 _64bit
I keep running into the dead end that it can't find config.h in the source tree. It looks like newer kernels don't use it anymore. Someone ran into this awhile back when compiling 1.2 and it looks as though the issue was never resolved. Any ideas? Last time I tried this, I was on fedora core 5 64bit and all went well. It's not working on this newer setup Any ideas on what I can do

Winbind in samba3-beta2 is broken compered to samba3-beta1 on solaris
I compiled samba3-beta2 with the same argument, kerberos- and ldap libraries as for samba3-beta1. The ADS join worked as it should. I am using the same smb.conf file as before: # Samba config file created using SWAT # from 10.0.0.254 (10.0.0.254) # Date: 2003/06/03 15:37:08 # Global parameters [global] workgroup = SAMBA-NET password server = * ads server = w2003server

sid->username conversion on beta2 as a domain member in a samba domain?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 We run a samba-2.2.x+LDAP domain, and I have been experimenting with samba3 as a member server on one of our production servers (when it has no open connections). I also have samba-2.2.x on it, which works fine. However, beta2 seems to not resolve sids to usernames, so the security tab in the file properties dialog from a windows box shows the sid,

Compilation problems (1.0-beta2)
Hi Folks, I'm running a minimal, textmode only install of FC4, and I'm trying to compile and install Dovecot 1.0-beta2. (...) /bin/sh ../../libtool --tag=CC --mode=link gcc -std=gnu99 -g -O2 -Wall -W -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wpointer-arith -Wchar-subscripts -Wformat=2

v1.2.beta2: Fatal: io_loop_handle_add: epoll_ctl(1, 10): Bad file descriptor
Hi Timo, I'm playing with Dovecot v1.2.beta2 currently. When the dict process was started via deliver(?) and Dovecot is killed (kill $PID_OF_DOVECOT) after delivering only one message, it logs: Fatal: io_loop_handle_add: epoll_ctl(1, 10): Bad file descriptor If the dict process was not started or deliver has delivered more than one message, the error doesn't occur.
