Strange Zaptel Modprobe driver failure
Hello, my first post to the list. I have started to install and play with
Asterisk. I was following some basic instructions to 'jump-start' my
system. I have a TDM400P with one port and a X100P.
I am running the latest CVS versions (from today).
Following the steps I found for basic jump-start I did the following:
Modprobe zaptel
Modprobe wcfxo
Modprobe wcfxs

Can't mount /home anymore
Hi!
I'm new to the list. I have a problem with mounting my home directory since
my PC crashed. I hope that I can get some help on this list as I don't know
much of ext3 myself.
The mount command for my /home gives me the following output:
# mount /dev/sda6 /mnt/tmp/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda6,
missing codepage or other error

Mandrake zaptel module not found after compiling
I have compiled zaptel on Mandrake following everything I have always
done on Fedora.
It is 2.6 udev so...
I had to modify the 01-devfs.rules
Make linux26
Make
Make install...
Everything appears to compile correctly but it says module not found
when doing "modprobe zaptel"
Is this a rights issue?

Zaptel error: Unable to create channel op type'Zap'
I tend to make it pause for 10 secs when loading the module as I have had a few occurances of loading before /dev/zap has been populated. Wouldn't trust the 2.6.12 kernel as far as I could virutally throw it.
Has anyone had any problems with PCI-X systems? In particular call dropping?

Lee

DAHDI and Oslec
I'm hoping someone can help me here.
I've purchased replacement systems for 3 aging 1.4.x installs. I'm hoping to setup Asterisk 11, dahdi 2.6.1 and Oslec.
I'm also moving those installs from Mandriva 10.0 to Debian 6.06 (Squeeze).
In my testing, the TE220P PCIe cards that I have, the timing was awful on both slots, so I compiled Kernel 3.6.9 from kernel.org. Timing jumped to

Compiling Zaptel 1.2.10 on Ubuntu 6.10
Here's a weird problem that I'm not quite sure how to resolve. Zaptel
1.2.10 compiles just fine with "make", but when "make install" is

[ -f /etc/zaptel.conf ] || install -D -m 644 zaptel.conf.sample

any Digium hardware) on CentOS 4.

SUSE 9.3, modprobe, and zaptel
I'm sure this has probably been discussed, but I cannot get zaptel and
ztdummy to load automatically when my linux box starts.
I have to manually modprobe them to get them into the kernel.
I have tried adding them to the /etc/modprobe.conf.local ("insert zaptel
/sbin/modprobe --ignore-install zaptel" for example) file, as well as
modifying the /etc/modprobe.d/zaptel file, but for

modprobe wct4xxp
ztcfg
sethdlc hdlc0 cisco
ifconfig hdlc0 up

question on modprobe.conf
I download the RHEL 6b2 and noticed the modprobe.conf
was no longer present.
I used modprobe.conf to place "options" for ethernet drivers
like which order to install the drivers. e1000e before forcedeth -
things like that.
Anyway - seems like that file is no longer present.
what is the "future" way to handle driver options?
Thanks
