Microsoft will enter VoIP market in earnest
Thanks Curt, that's "too cool for school", any idea on when this is
coming to the MS SBS platform?
I use SBS for myself at home and would love that level of functionality
included.
Does Asterisk therefore handoff voicemail storage etc to Exchange for
this level of integration?
Cheers,
Dean

Amanda 2.3.0.5-Samba 1.9.16p11 PC backups...
At the bottom is what I got returned from AMANDA 2.3.0.5 after patching
Samba 1.9.16p11 to give estimates. Any idea what I might not have done yet?
My disklist reads:

To connect successfully to that server with smbclient, I have to do this,
giving the same password that I now have in /etc/amandapass:

Rf_initEmbeddedR in Windows
Hi All
My C++/linux program uses Rf_initEmbeddedR to start R and then calls some
R functions. Now I try to port it to Windows. Give the fact that
Rf_initEmbeddedR is missing in Windows, I try to use the implmentation in
Rserve by Simon Urbanek. When I build in MS Visual Studio, I get the
following linking error
error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol __imp__putenv referenced in

[PATCH] bridge: separate querier and query timer into IGMP/IPv4 and MLD/IPv6 ones
Currently we would still potentially suffer multicast packet loss if there
is just either an IGMP or an MLD querier: For the former case, we would
possibly drop IPv6 multicast packets, for the latter IPv4 ones. This is
because we are currently assuming that if either an IGMP or MLD querier
is present that the other one is present, too.
This patch makes the behaviour and fix added in

[Bridge] bride: IPv6 multicast snooping enhancements
Hi,
Here are two, small feature changes I would like to submit to increase
the usefulness of the multicast snooping of the bridge code.
The first patch is an unaltered one I had submitted before, but since it
got no feedback I'm resubmitting it here for net-next. With the recently
added patch to disable snooping if there is no querier (b00589af + 248ba8ec05
+ 8d50af4fb), it should be a safe

Cache Problems!!!!!
I've got a system setup where a Win95 client (written in Visual C++ 5.0)
presents a user with a GUI that collects information about hardware that
he/she would like to produce. This information is used to build a path
to the directory that contains the files to load into one of the
production machines. For example, through the use of menus and such the
user indicates that they would like to run

[Bridge] [PATCH net-next 15/16] selftests: forwarding: lib: Add helpers to build IGMP/MLD leave packets
The testsuite that checks for mcast_max_groups functionality will need to
wipe the added groups as well. Add helpers to build an IGMP or MLD packets
announcing that host is leaving a given group.

Has anyone heard anything about these guys? Anyone seen anything like
this?

It's seems very cool, basically uses GPRS as a digital overlay on your
mobile phone for additional functionality such as presence and IM though
I'm sure they have some other functionality (voicemail access, call
announce etc) coming down the pipeline.
Any thoughts,

Not related to asterisk: but I figured someone here would have used them
before?
Has anyone tried http://www.wcell.com/ab/ZnJpZW5kLzEwNjI= yet?
Looks like they have a voip app for your mobile handset sending voice
calls out over your data service or wifi for 1c per minute calls both in
the USA and internationally.
Wondering if i should sign up with them for my trip to Australia
