Machine becoming irresponsive
There is a CentOS 5.2 machine that is sometimes found to be offline. It runs a few websites but nothing very high traffic. I happened to notice a few days ago that before it went down, one of the sites written in PHP was throwing errors that it could not connect to the MySQL backend. Two hours later, the whole server was down and wasn't even responding to SSH. It's not my box, but I may

HDL F10 brazilian doorbell device + TDM2400
Hi, I'm trying to connect an HDL F10 device for a friend living in Brazil to the TDM2400 on his Asterisk server. That device should behave like a normal doorbell and it is if connected to an analog PBX. I connected to the TDM2400 and everything works fine except for one thing: when the called party hangs up his phone, the F10 HDL device does not hang up. I'm not brazilian and not

ConnectTimeout=2 not working for me
Hi all, I have somewhat a strange problem that I could not figure out, maybe someone here can lelp. I have a script that uses scp to distribute files to many servers, I use '-o BatchMode=yes -o ConnectTimeout=2 options so the scp will not get stuck if something is wrong with the remote host. If the remote host is down (non-pingable) or sshd is down the timeout option works and the scp

[LLVMdev] LLVM/LLVA on IMSYS WISC CPU
There is a strange Writable Instruction Set Computing CPU from Imsys (Sweden) based on FPGA. Is it possible to setup the IMSYS CPU for running applications based on LLVA/LLVM? Thank you. Swedish microprocessor developer Imsys Technologies has released three devices in its reconfigurable family of processors. Unveiled at the Microprocessor Forum in San Jose, each device combines the processor with

[LLVMdev] lli on ARM simulator
Hello, I am new to LLVM and complier development, am more comfortable with logic gates. However, I am part of a research project that intends to develop a co-designed virtual machine reconfigurable computing, the virtual machine controls a reconfigurable fabric in addition to a microprocessor. The microprocessor may be an ARM and the system should employ a JIT to generate code for the

[LLVMdev] LatticeMico32 (LM32) backend
Hi, Would anyone be interested in developing a LatticeMico32 backend in LLVM? LatticeMico32 [1] is an open source microprocessor core designed by Lattice Semiconductor and typically used in FPGAs. It is comparable to the Microblaze processor that you already support. It is already supported by GNU Binutils and GCC (4.5+). It is used by the Milkymist [2] and RTEMS [3] projects. The Milkymist

Is fax bridging with TDM2400 working (or about to work) ?
Hi, >From a chat with Kevin Fleming during last Astricon Europe in Paris, I understood that Digium was about to support TDM bridging with TDM2400 board. This feature had to be introduced with 1.4 release. Is my understanding correct ? If correct, would it be reliable enough to bridge 14400b/s fax calls though I know, fax were not officially supported or shall I use Sangoma boards for that ?

TDM2400P Problem
Hi All, I have the problem with TDM2414E card (16FXO & 4 FXS with echo cancellation). I have already connected to the asterisk server and loaded wctdm24xxp module. When I connect the phone to FXS port, It gets the dial tone but I cannot dial to any number (I can press the phone button but nothing happens even the busy tone). There is no activity in the asterisk CLI. It just prints

attempting native bridge on TDM2400
Hello list, I am encountering a bit of a problem in working with incoming calls with a TDM2400 and * 1.2.4; when a call comes in, * will correctly detect the ringing, but will sometimes report multiple "Attempting native bridge". What I do is basically that when a call comes in, I dial a different box through the same Zaptel interface and I get logs like this: [call comes in]

TDM2400: some FXS module fail
Hello, I've installed two Digium TDM2400 cards on my server. One has 24FXS and the other has 16 FXS and 4 FXO. They are both connected to power. Unfortunately some of the FXS module fail to initialize and I find following messages in the logs (the rest of the FXS modules work well). Could someone give me some advice? !!!!!!! Big problems with TDM2400 :(
Hello Fellows! I have a TDM2400 and I can't put it to work. Every time it receive a call the Asterisk handle it and call the SIP phone; when people pick up the fone they don't hear nothing and the caller hear the phone rings and nothing happens. In Asterisk console I can see the message answered by the SIP's phone. I lost a lot of time trying to solve this problem without success :(.

Opensuse 11.4 domU hang on boot
Hello Everyone! Been looking around the internet but have not found a solution for my problem yet, all i found was a report on opensuse forums with no replays. I have a Xen dom0 running on OpenSuse 11.4 x86_64, on this I’ve created 3 PV instances all running OpenSuse 11.4 x86_64 as well. TDM2400 Hardware Echo Cancel
Good Day List, I'm having some issues with echo cancel on my Asterisk box, and have done extensive reading and have gained some useful pointers from this list but have a couple of hopefully fairly simple questions. The Asterisk box is connected via 20 FXO ports on a TDM2400 with the Hardware echo cancel module. Echo cancel almost works, but the users hear what they describe as a

TDM2400 card FXS problems
We have a recently deployed server with a new TDM2400 card that will not put dialtone or audio on FXS ports after the physical server restarts (though they will ring if called, there's just no audio on the line if the phone at the other end picks up). The symptom can be resolved by stopping Asterisk, restarting DAHDI, and then restarting Asterisk. So far, this has happened on both times the

Patch queue pushed out
I finally got some time to work through the klibc patch queue... however, since I have been AWOL so long I might have dropped patches. If someone could take a quick look at the git tree before I push a new version out that would be great. -hpa -- H. Peter Anvin, Intel Open Source Technology Center I work for Intel. Multiple TDM400p cards in one machine -- no longer an issue?
Hi all, Years ago, I was pretty sure attempting to use two TDM400p cards in one machine was recommended against by Digium ... probably because the cards couldn't hack it, and/or interrupt problems etc I have seen some posts recently that seem to indicate it is in fact possible these days thanks to some updated firmware perhaps? ..... I just need to have two in the server because the 4 ports
