Wine tools 9 not compatable with wine 9.0.17
It barley works and what programs do barley work at all. When installing IE6 english it fails to install Windows media player and when It simulates a reboot it generats all kinds of errors. It can't seem to load important Windows files such as system32.

Beginner couple of questions

How do I use the developers version of Wine 1.1.20?
I'm still not sure how I did it, but I managed to use the link http://wiki.winehq.org/GitWine for the latest development version, and even installed git (blind man navigating New York City streets). So now all I have to do is Code: git fetch ; git rebase origin to stay up to date. My question is how do I run programs with it? When I do the normal Code: wine setup.exe for example, it says

New Linux user with installation woes
My apologies if this has cropped up before, but a search and a look at the FAQ hasn't given me much. I'm a total newbie with the whole Linux thing. I've currently got a dual boot Ubuntu/Windows XP setup with a wireless adaptor as my means of internet.
