Hello, GTA Vice City will not start saved or new games anymore in Wine 0.9.41. When you start the game, it displays the menu (after you pressed a random key to skip the intro movie, which does not play). Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Saving
I can't save my game while playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with Wine 1.1.0. When I try to save it says something about checking my Save Game directory. I have Wine configured so My Documents is set to Documents in my home folder and thats where my saves should be.

Games: Grand Theft Auto 2 / DirectX 6.1 support?
Hi all, I've checked the archives and can't find anything regarding the above so here goes: Has anyone had any luck getting GTA2 or other games that require DirectX 6.1 support working under Wine so far? I used to keep a Win95 partition on my machine specifically for this game, but recently my second disk died and I need the space for my Linux installation. Any help appreciated.

Debugging segfault in foreach
Hi, I'm using R-2.12 on a linux 64bit machine. When I run a chunk of code inside a foreach() %do% { ...} or %dopar% {...} (with doMC backend) I keep getting a segfault. Running the *same* code within lapply(something, function(x) ... ) doesn't result in any segfaults. I'll paste the output below, but I'm not sure it would be helpful. Help with LDAP authentication - user / user+domain
Hello Folks, I've my dovecot working well and authenticating in my ldap servers. But I'd like configure my users to authenticate in two ways. One is just submitting the username and the other one is providing user at domain.com . I'm moving from a cyrus-imap solution to dovecot and I've implemented it with VD domains. Unreal Tournament - variable speeds during gameplay

Steam Games - Flickering/Flashing Menu during Gameplay.
Hello. I recently installed Steam through Wine 1.0.0, but when I run DOD: Source, Half Life, DOD, or Deathmatch Classic, I experience the same problem. The game loads and runs fine, but the menu screen is flashing over the actual gameplay images every second. Administrator uid is 3000000 not 0 as root
Hello! W alse have a problem when folders and files created as Administrator have owner uid as 3000000 not 0 as, I understand, it must be. Because of this programs can't define samba user name by uid. I googled and saw that there are other people who had the same problem. The only solution I found is to create one more user with uid 3000000 in addc but I don't think it's the best way.

CS 1.6 lagging badly (Intel 4500MHD)
