Hi folks, First off all, I'm new to asterisk. I'd like to make a basic installation of * with a Linejack, as recommended in this mailing list, I downloaded and setup successfuly the pwlib, openh323 lib, asterisk and chan_323. Linejack strikes again.
Hi All, Does anyone know if there has been any developments in asterisk to use LineJacks to dial out (connect to the PSTN)? The card works perfectly with virtually anything else but asterisk. Maybe the CVS versions have some work on it? Cheers, -Z -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com

Asterisk and Linejacks
I found a message from you to the asterisk users mailing list from 2001. I was wondering if you got (or still have) an asterisk system working with the linejack? If so, would you be willing to assist me with mine? I seem to have things working, and * says that caller ID is coming in, but I can't get * to actually answer the call. Thanks, Greg -- NetIO.org

IXJ Quicknet PhoneJack issues
Greetings: We have been running a CVS HEAD version of asterisk from Mar 10, 2005 on ix86 (PIII-600) Linux 2.4.27 with ixj (chan_phone) hardware. In a hope of getting better 'chan_skinny' support (to attempt using a Cisco 7920 IP phone) I built asterisk 1.2.40 on this box. Initial tests verify that our previous dialplan is working (iax2 trunks, register sip phones, registering withour SER

LineJACK Compatability
It would be nice if Digium updated the hardware compatibility list on asteriskpbx.org to indicate that the LineJACK can't be used for dialing out. I've seen several people on IRC be burned by not knowing this. --Eric -- BTEL Consulting 850-484-4535 x2111 (Office) 504-595-3916 x2111 (Experimental) 877-552-0838 (Backup Phone)

Anyone using Asterisks and a Quicknet Lineja ck in the UK?
I don't have any experience of your problem - but I thought this might help. http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/circuits/uk_wiring.html <http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/circuits/uk_wiring.html> The UK (and some of it's former colonies) use a system called 3-wire ringing. Some equipment from overseas requires an adaptor to make it work. I don't know if the LineJack is one

help with linejack card
Hi, I am trying to get a prototype working based on Asterisk and Quicknet cards. I currently have to systems set up each with a LineJack card. I have the systems working, but can't get the voicemail demo to work properly. Messages to the user telephone set from the voicemail system are clear, but recordings left through the phone are distorted. Sounds like the audio has lots of echo and

Problem with the Internet LineJACK ISA card...
Hi, I'm having problems with setting up my ISA LineJack card on Linux machine... I've done everithing according to documentation available, by compiling the new ixj driver (v1.2.1), loading it, adding device node /dev/phone0 with major number 100 and minor number 0, adding aliases into the /etc/modules.conf: alias char-major-100 phonedev alias char-major-100-0 ixj and running depmod
