Asterisk - Qsig
Hello all, as good?
It would like to make a question, asterisk supports the protocol qsig, for
interconnections in ISDN with equipment Siemens HiPath 4000 or same Ericsson
MD110, so that it could identify to the name and the number of hosts and
also to use some features of asterisk in the Siemens/Ericsson equipment.
Greetings
Josu?

QSIG error -- can somebody explain?
Hi all,
I tried to connect the bristuffed(0.3.0-PRE-1i) * to an Alcatel PBX
via BRI (zaphfc) and Q.SIG. The Alcatel PBX is connected to the
outside world and should forward our calls to the telco. This setup
works correctly as far as I use euroisdn as the switchtype.
The first problem was that it is only possible to run the * side in
CPE-mode -- I wanted NET.
Anyway, I configured * this way:

Asterisk, QSIG and Tenovis PBX?
Hi,
we are still trying to properly connect a Tenovis PBX to an Asterisk server
(asterisk 1.2.6, libpri 1.2.2, zaptel 1.2.5, Digium Wildcard TE110P), this
time with QSIG.
Calling from a Tenovis phone to a SIP phone (i.e. traditional phone ->
Tenovis PBX -> QSIG -> Asterisk -> SIP phone) works with the following

QSIG against a Nortel/Meridian PBX
[Reposting, as was bounced for non-member, sorry if this is a dupe]
Arrangement:

Normal calls between PBX system phones and SIP phones work, in both
directions. The call logs look like (ignore the no answer, it did ring):

switchtype QSIG and Asterisk implementation
Hi,
Is Asterisk "fully QSIG-compliant"?
I currently have an Alcatel 4400 connected to Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4.
Zaptel versions are 1.2.26 and 1.4.11.
I am using switchtype=euroisdn and all works fine.
However, it seems that Alcatel's latest firmware has dropped support for euroisdn which is really despicable. So now I need to see if I can migrate to QSIG which is supported by

QSIG support in Asterisk
I am looking to get the info about QSIG support in Asterisk.
Does Asterisk have QSIG support?
Does Asterisk support QSIG SIP Tunneling or QSIG SIP Interworking?
If so, How to configure that?
Thanks

Asterisk QSIG doesnt send the calling name to Nortel CS1000
Hello to all,
I have a problem with an asterisk qsig.
I have three machines:
Nortel CS1000 --- Card Sangoma PRI ---> Asterisk QSIG ---SIP Trunk--->
Asterisk
I use Snom phones on Asterisk.
If I call from Asterisk to Nortel, Nortel reminds me of the name of the person
i'm calling and I visualize on the display of Snom phone, but if I call from
Nortel to Asterisk, the QSIG does not send

PRI and QSIG
Hi all,
I'm planning on connecting our Asterisk to our legacy PBX (an Avaya INDeX).
I was originally going to sit it between our ISDN connection and the INDeX
(tried it, worked ok) but now I intend to hang it off a spare PRI card just
so should the * fail we keep our ISDN's at the INDeX, yes I've looked at
ISDNguard but little info from the manufacturers.
Anyhow, I'm now

SV: SV: QSIG, Asterisk and Eicon DIVA
I have read most of Eicons information on Q.SIG, and I am able to load the Q.SIG protocol (instead of ETSI for example). No strange logging in divacrtl mlog.
But how do I tell Asterisk to understand Q.SIG?
My PBX is configured for QSIG, but I cannot see anything on my trace when trying to make a call via the S0(Q.SIG)

Asterisk and QSIG
Hello,
I'm looking for info about interconnecting asterisk to QSIG GF enabled PABX over
PRI .
Any information and pointers will be helpful.
The very first first question: does asterisk support QSIG BC and GF natively
i see that it is supported through CAPI enabled cards but what about support
through librip/dahdi?
Thanks

timing source problem
hi all,
we do have some troubles with zaptel timing source - we have a setup
with 3 telco PRI lines, connected to asterisk digium card 0 - asterisk
does some handling - calls are leaving on digium card 1 - going to a
siemens hipath - there is some call handling - some of the calls then
are going from the hipath over a qsig line to a bosch integral PBX -
handling the rest of the calls.

911 @ Zap Channel Breakin
Ok here is one for you.
I know we all do the this for 911:
exten => _911,1,Dial(Zap/1/911)
exten => _9911,1,Dial(Zap/1/911)
And this probably is more then acceptable for most of us. However I
have a system setup that uses SIP for most calls and 1 POTS line. We
use a "least cost" routing that uses the POTS line for local calls AND
SIP when appropiate. What I want to do is

Asterisk to Ericsson MD110 on E1 with ISDN-USR (not QSIG)?
I have been asked by a potential customer whether we can connect an
Asterisk box to an Ericsson MD110 that has an E1 port with ISDN-USR.
They are unable or unwilling to upgrade their E1 port to QSIG.
Has anyone here had experience of successfully making such a connection?
I have found a couple of hits on Google that suggest it "should" work,
but I'm after something a little more

Disabling QSIG Encoding in LibPRI
Hi everyone,
I was referred to this mailing list by Richard Mudgett regarding the following thread on Issue Tracker as it's a feature request and not a bug:https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/PRI-170
We've got a Nortel BCM (actually 2 BCM50s and 1 BCM400)... all showing the same problem.
When a call comes in the number shows up OK but the name does not. In looking at the ISDN messages

legacy Alcatel 4200/4400 and Asterisk (QSIG/PRI) and callerid
Hello,
I have connected asterisk box with legacy PBX Alcatel OmniPCX 4400 (and also
another * box connected to A4200).
These PBXes have function to assign name to extensions and display it on
phone.
Asterisk box is connected via PRI with euroISDN signalling (also I have tried
QSIG).
Is it possible to set callerid with name and display it on alcatel digital
phones? With command SetCALLERID

I need to make asterisk connect to another device over a pri using QSIG
signalling (master/slave). Is this feasible and has it been done before?
Thank you!
