2.6.9-22.EL.src.rpm
I can locate kernel-2.6.9-22.EL.src.rpm but cannot locate kernel-2.6.9-22.0.1.EL.src.rpm Is that because they are the same but just had different build options? Craig -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

UP vs SMP kernel ?
There was a discussion here several days ago that was precipitated by my decision to manually install the new kernel before YUMming the upgrade to CentOS 4.2. The upgrade went south but I recovered by doing a fresh install and a bunch of copying from backups. All's well EXCEPT that I'm back in the same "box", thanks to anaconda. I set out to upgrade kernels this morning:

aah 2.7 / BRI
First encounter with * Just downloaded & installed aah-2.7 Started up AMP, but i can not find any reference towards isdn. I presume there has to be some configuration done for my Eicon-Diva-pro. Does aah actually support isdn-bri? On the mail-archive i found some references, but these are rather old ( they speak about the coming release of aah-2.1) aah-handbook (version 1.6) doesn't

Modules installed in the wrong directory
I did a yum install of modules from the CentOS-csgfs repository (GFS-kernel, cman-kernel, etc). Modprobe does not find the modules. Upon investigation, I found that modprobe is looking in: /lib/modules/2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp/ while the package files were installed to: /lib/modules/2.6.9-22.0.1.EL/ Can I tell modprobe to use those modules somehow? Are modules for the smp kernel available? Or do I

Plan to free myself from AAH
Hi, I'm actually using a slightly old version of AAH with Asterisk 1.2.1, because at first install it was perfect for my moderate knowledge of Asterisk. It is working well but I gradually introduced many changes to dialplan during normal use and now I'm feeling like in a straitjacket! Moreover I'd like to have the chance to upgrade Asterisk regularly. I have not the experience to

Too much memory cache being used while moving large file
System : CentOS 4.2 2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp System fully up-to-date. 3GB RAM 3ware 9000S card, with Raid5 array. I think that's about all relevant info ... Had file on disk (not array), attempted to mv file to array. Went fine till 2.4GB was copied, then it slowed down to a meg every few minutes. Free memory was ~50MB (Typically is 1.5-2GB), and cache was 2.5GB. Stopped the move, however cache

yum updates
I am trying to update my cluster servers to a newer kernel. As the csgfs stuff is not updated for 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL yet, I have to use 2.6.9-34.0.1.EL. If I specify to update the cluster packages, yum will automatically find the proper kernel package to meet the dependency. The problem is that I also need the kernel-smp-devel package installed so that I can build a new AoE driver. It doesn't
