Hi all, I was excited to see the announcement on the list regarding the fix for the echo problems on Digium FXO cards! I have 2 X101P's, TDM400P with 4 FXS modules and couple of XLite softphones. A few months back,I had gone thru the recommendation on the list to remove echo from the SIP phones(I never did have any echo on the TDM400P FXS phones), and had removed about 90% of the echo.

Can anyone recommend a good cordless user-configurable SIP hardphone that is readily available in the states and doesn't cost $300? There seem to be a plethora of decent and affordable corded phones (like from Grandstream) but the search for a cordless unit seems elusive. I purchased a vtech 8100 online only to discover after receiving it that it is locked to vonage service. Thank you.

The TDM410P doesn't support 'hvac', only the obsolete TDM400P supports that option was for the old phones that have a neon light (or equivalent LED+ZENER ciruit). Are other phones off the TDM410P (other than the VTECH) working, or is the Vtech the only model with VMWI available to you. Hello! Attached to the bottom of this e-mail is an edited version of an e-mail I originally wrote to Digium tech support regarding Ouch and Power alarm errors I have been receiving on my TDM400. It contains a great deal of detail regarding my setup. In the end, I have found that one of the 5 phones I'm trying to make work with Asterisk is contributing to the generation of these errors.

Have someone experienced any strange noises using the ilbc codec after upgrading to asterisk 1.0.3? I had to change the codec do gsm to fix this problem. The noise is very loud, like saturation of the echo ro something, seems like the echo cancelation is amplifying itself. I have Asterisk voice mail setup locally. It works great, I'm impressed! Some details about my system: I'm using a TDM22B card to interface with both the PSTN and a VOIP provider. I'm running 1.2-beta from CVS. I have a regular VTech phone plugged into one of the FXS ports. Asterisk is able to indicate when a local voicemail message is waiting via the LCD display of my analog phone.
