similar to: FXS Caller ID revisted

I haven't intentionally done anything to the CID, the odd thing is that another aastra phone (480e) connected to the same port DOES display CID, it's only these PT350s that can't seem to read it.. Been talking to Aastra support & they've suggested some avenues to explore, but none of them have worked... The PT350s definitely have a problem w/*'s cid signals.. Just not sure

I just need to buy 5-6 ADSI Phones. I wondering which of these models to choose - aastra 390 - I don't know is this an ADSI phone at all. Is there versions with and without ADSI - aastra 350 - I'm sure that it have ADSI. If there is some other good working model, it will be great, if someone points me. Thanks

Hi all, is anyone using the Aastra Powertouch 350 analog (adsi) phone with asterisk? I cannot get the phone to display incoming caller id... I can see the CID if I hook up a cheap caller id enabled phone... Only the PT350 is having problems. I was able to partially debug the problem i was having I was trying to print the stuck documents in /var/spool/samba but kept getting error messages saying that the documents where unprintable. I accidently tried the lpr -v option thinking it was for Verbose info... That fixed it! Now I just have to figure out why samba is saving my documents in raster format. Getting "no service" display on aastra 480i. Sip debug shows an "unathorized" blub when the aastra tries to register. Some reading indicates that 1.4 firmware wants aastra.cfg and mac.cfg in /tftpboot/. There are none. Anyone have basic config files? Or can point me to a good link? All links I have tried, that purport to have config files, are either dead or error out.
