SATA on Foxconn P4M9007MB-8RS2H motherboard
To those of you who may be interested, to get SATA drives to work on
this motherboard with Xen 3.3.1 (compiled from source) you need to set
SATA to RAID mode in the BIOS, not the default IDE mode.
So I can only assume that the 2.6.18.8 kernel has a problem with the VIA
SATA in IDE mode, and can''t recognise it, even though the host OS
(Ubuntu 8.04LTS, in my case) has no problems with it.

Network frozen in Centos 5 with Xen
Hello,
I have this problem - I have installation of Xen and Centos 5 (all RPMs are from Centos repositories).
I have several DomU virtual machines running on this machine.
When I try to copy some bigger amount of data from another physical computer to Dom0/DomU on this machine, the network freezes. The link is still up, I can see that the connection really links on the switch, but nothing is

wine with hid
I've cross posted this on the Ubuntu 5.10 list.
I'm trying to get my Logitech Harmony remote control configuration
software working under Wine (0.9.19 - Let me say it's pretty cool, and
scary, to see all the windows stuff pop up so easily on my system). I
get pretty far, but then it fails when it tries to access the device
(which is connected via USB). When I have it plugged in and

VIA C3 Nehemiah Locks Up
Hello,
I've got an EPIA-M series motherboard in a system that has locked up
twice under random conditions. Nothing is logged to the console or logs,
the system just hangs.
The system is installed with CentOS 4.4 and running the 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL
i686 kernel. I am aware that older C3 processors had the CMOV problem,
but that is resolved in the later boards (procinfo below). I've seen a

rtc in /proc/interrupts
Hi - I am using centos 4.6 on an ebox 4300. Everything seems to be
working except the
/proc/interrupts rtc is always constant. On other machines the rtc
(which ztdummy from asterisk) is always incrementing.
the uhci_hcd and ehci_hcd are both running.
What can cause this?

DevKit TDM400P module won't load
Hi all,
I have just purchased the DevKit from Digium and received a X100P and a
TDM400P (it has one FXS module).
The problem is that I can't get the kernel module (wcfxs) to load and
run. I have searched the archives and can't find anything about this.
Do the messages below ring any bells with anyone ?
There is no interrupt clash (see pci list below). I am running on a AMD

xen 2.0/2.0.1 reboots silently on via C3-cpu
On my lex mainboard with a Via C3 cpu, xen 2.0(.1) reboots (nearly)
immediately without any outputs.
The same setup/version boots without problems on a via epia M board with
a Via C3-2 cpu (Nehemia), having a rather different chipset.
Starting with option noreboot, nobiostables doesn''t change anything
visible.
Is this a known problem? Or just a knowingly unsupported chipset?
Have you

Bug: noveau DATA_ERROR / CACHE_ERROR on Quadro NVS 290
Hi, there!
Every once in a while / about once a day I have nouveau for a Quadro NVS
290 failing in my
system from about kernel 3.10...up to now 3.14, so I finally decided to
report this bug as
it gets really annoying. After the bug appears, there are some (one per
DATA_ERROR line)
small 20x20 to 40x40 pixel sized odd shaped white block artefacts stuck
on my (dual monitor)
desktop. After a restart

managedsave/start fails because of Q35 UHCI Host Controller
managedsave/start appears to work, but VM is unusable due to non-stop
repeating uhci_hcd errors.
I can't remove the USB controller from QEMU, but I CAN remove it
through virsh edit. Doing so eliminates the USB controller in the
guest, preventing non-stop repeating uhci_hcd errors. (QEMU only lets
you remove the USB redirection entries, which didn't help.)
Using libvirt 1.2.18 (-1 Arch)

Autokey types a dir into open ile dialog but not recognised
I was playing with Autokey to automate the use of a Win app, but it seems that it is not recognising keystrokes properly. Not sure where the problem is.
If I were to open Notepad, and then use keyboard.send_keys("<ctrl>+o"), it doesn't work but manually pressing the actual keys, it does. However using the same command for a native app (say firefox) it does work. So perhaps

Re: Autokey types a dir into open ile dialog but not recognised
I have a similar problem. I used Autokey to expand ";d" to the current date, e.g. 2011.10.26-09:19:54. But in windows apps running inside Wine, the colons end up as semi-colons (2011.10.26-09;19;54), suggesting the SHIFT key is not registering correctly.
(Note: I'm using CrossOver, hence Wine indirectly.)

DTMF wrongly recognised
Before I start ... I know there's been a lot of talk over the last couple of
days about the list being slow etc... I understand there were problems and
that mail is starting to get through now. Just wondering - should I be
surprised if something I sent 48 hours ago hasn't turned up at all? And
something I sent about 6 hours ago still hasn't turned up (yet). I'm just
curious
