Bristuff wackyness - not answering
Hi Is anyone having this weird trouble with bristuff....calls don't get answered, but on the debug it looks as if the call is answered. The call will just hear ringing. I am using -BRI-stuffed-0.1.0-RC4a Occassionally the system starts working on its own, other times I have to stop and rmmod everything and start them all up again. These error messages appear on the CLI: == Primary

Can zaphfc (bristuff) do caller id?
Caller id is not in the configs that are supplied with zaphfc from bristuff, and it's not mentioned in the wiki. Is it possible to use callerid with zaphfc/bristuff? Thanks!!

chan_sccp and bristuff 1.0.3 weirdness
I am using chan_sccp on bristuffed asterisk (0.2RC3 on asterisk 1.0.3). Things seem fine but I am seeing some weird stuff. I have a Kirk IP600 connecting to * with 2 handsets. The weird thing is that for incoming calls the handset that is put second as my dialstring, never rings. This is my dial string: exten => 666666666,4,Dial(${PHONE1}&${DECT1}&${DECT2}),25,tm) Where DECT1

zaprtc from bristuff? not there?
I'm trying to take advice to use "zaprtc from bristuff" (from both a posting here and references on voip-info) because I have a 2.4 kernel SMP machine. I've downloaded and installed bristuff-0.2.0-RC3a and now have the modules zaphfc and zaptel loaded. Running meetme says the extension is invalid (I've double checked meetme.conf and extensions.conf). There is no zaprtc

Bristuff and Realtime
Hi, I would like to use Realtime extentions with a four bri card, the classic "quodbri". Normally with that card I would use * "bristuffed" from Klaus-Peter Junghanns, but since that package is based on stable version there is no Realtime at all in it (I suppose). Any idea, other than wait for realtime to begin stable ? :) Tnx ! -- Best regards, Alessio

Callgroup with bristuff ISDN?
Hi list! I'm still trying to figure out about the groups in asterisk. If I understand correctly, if you assign a certain group number and you assign the same call group number to a sip device the device will reing even though you did not specifically specify it in extension.conf? How will this work for ISDN BRI/PRI? I don't want some extensions to get all calls from the BRI/PRI, just

bristuff and audio drop outs (5 sec and longer)
Hi, I have an * installation running with chan_capi over a AVM C4 card for quite a while without major hickup. Now I have added a zaphfc device to it and rebuild asterisk with bristuff_0.02RC5. I now experience a lot of drop outs during a conversation. They last 5 seconds and more, but eventually the sound comes back (if the other side has not hang up). Both ISDN cards are currently in the

install BRIstuff on *@home?
I'm still trying to install a HFC-s BRI card onto *@home .6 I'm new to this so I probably am overlooking the obvious. Can I just install BRIstuff onto a fresh *@home install? The BRIstuff installer downloads another * from Digium. Will this interfere with the @home install and must I comment out the Asterisk install in the BRIstuff install.sh file? Any pointers are much appreciated.

BRIstuff - synchronization with PSTN?
Hello, for a long time I've been having problems with analog modems and faxes communicationg over ISDN BRI lines. Now I began to suspect that this is due to * being out of sync with the PSTN. I have a quadBRI card with first two ports connected to PSTN, and defined as follows: span=1,1,0,ccs,ami span=2,2,0,ccs,ami This should mean that spans 1 and 2 are used as primary and secondary

Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi, I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ? Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ? Regards, Rob.

Bristuff e RealTime: STABLE vs. CVS-HEAD
Hi all! Was anybody able to install kapejod's zaphfc drivers together with RealTime application? I'm in big trouble because bristuff relay on STABLE version, while RealTime is included in the CVS-HEAD. I found this hint, "Installing zaphfc with CVS-Head" at http://voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+zaphfc+install, but it was written many months ago: may it be still useful? TIA, Alex

bristuff patches and realtime mysql
Hi! I have a problem compiling the res_config_mysql.so after successfully compiling and installing asterisk with the bristuff package/patches. I get lots of compiler errors. When inserting a previously compiled res_config_mysql.so into the bristuff-patched Asterisk, I get an error on startup and Asterisk crashes. Anyone using res_config_mysql.so with the bristuff package and can help me? Thanks,

[bristuff] returning a Busy to the telco?
Hi Kape, Life is generally good with bristuff and the quadBRI cards. However I've got a concern: how does one return a busy signal to the telco when all B channels are busy? Right now, when all channels are in use, the remote caller is kept waiting until the telco times out and finally get a busy signal (on a land line) or error tone (mobile). On the asterisk side here is the output: --
