Using HASH() and REALTIME_HASH()
Hi, I'm playing around with asterisk 1.6.2.0 and the first try was to replace my now non-functionning 'app-realtime' macro which emulated RealTime with REALTIME_HASH() There is very few documentation on the subject except for this bug report: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=13651#c94998 However when i try this syntax:

SPA941
Hi all, I'm new to this list, so forgive me if I'm not supposed to ask this: I currently own a Linksys SPA941 SIP phone with 5.1.8 firmware. Is there any way to use TLS with this phone<--->asterisk (v 1.6.0.9)? It is said that is supports TLS/SRTP but I don't see any of these options in the configuration file or the admin (advanced) SIP conf panel. Am I missing something? Thnx

SPA941 WMI not lighting up when natted
Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem. We have 2 office locations and the Asterisk server is at one of them. At the other location, all SPA941 access the Asterisk server over an Internet link. All phones are set to "nat=yes" at the remote location. So my problem is that the MWI doesn't work at the remote location. The Sipsak messages are sent properly, but it's sent to the

SPA941 WMI not lighting up when natted
I have an a bunch of SPA941 Linksys phones for users in and out of the office. When the phones are in the office (and on the same network as the asterisk server) the WMI goes on when it should and off when it should. But when the phone is on another network and natted it fails to do so. The light always stays off. Has anybody had a similar problem (and hopefully a resolve)?

Looking for a patch cable for my SPA941 Phones
Hi all, i know this question is not directly asterisk related - but i have no idea where else to ask. We do have around 50 pieces of LinkSys SPA941 - these phones do have a 2.5mm plug connection - and we do have many many headsets we used with normal PC's before (so 2x3.5mm plug connection). Does anyone here know where i can get an adapter 1x2.5mm -> 2x3.5mm ? Or can anyone here tell me

SPA941 et al LED indications
Hi all. The SPA941 and friends have pretty multicoloured LEDs, but there doesn't appear to be any support for SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY as * as implemented for extension hinting. Has anyone managed to get the phone to support this? BLF with SPA941?
Appearently SPA941 is less than a SPA942 without two ports, poe and backlight. There is less features too, it doesn't support BLF. Is it possible to hack 942-software into 941, or is there another workaround? Leif -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Using server side phonebook directory with SPA941
Hello list, I got a couple of those "wouldn't it be great questions", as following: 1. Is it possible, with asterisk to hold a central phonebook directory of callers?, so that when this party calls a "textual" caller ID will be displayed on the phone display. 2. How can this be configured with Trixbox, I've looked at the configuration options - I assume it plays no

Installing Asterisk 1.4 Documentation
Is there an official list anywhere specifying the Prerequisites for installing asterisk(Specifally 1.4) on Fedora Core 4? I have been struggling with a "configure: error: termcap support not found" error when compiling 1.4 on my brand new install of FC4 fully updated, Fedora was installed as a base install to try and keep the overheads down of running a full GUI and all the other junk,

Sipura SPA-841 auto-answer support [patch]
Sipura has implemented auto-answer in version 0.9.5 of the SPA-841 firmware. However, it is implemented via the Call-Info header, which Asterisk stable doesn't currently support. The attached patch implments a quick hack to support the Call-Info header from the Dial() application by way of setting the CALL_INFO variable. For example, the following macro can be used to dial up a single

Granstream GXP2000 Distinctive tones
I recently posted a question RE the Sipura 941 and using different ring tones, Thanks to hads I managed to use SET(_ALERT_INFO=Classic-1) to achieve this but trying this on the GXP 2000's didn't seem to do the trick?? Has anyone one had any luck on this topic? Also haven't been able to find any info on an auto-answer for the GXP 2000, again, I have succeeded in doing so with the

Call Transfer using SIP clients
Hello all, First of all, let me apologize about the length of this message, but I suppose it was necessary to include the details. I've spent quite some time already trying to get the call transfer function to work on my Asterisk installation. Let me first describe the general situation of the setup I am using, so you might be able to pinpoint the cause of the problem. I'm currently

SIP: INFO before answer causes disconnect
Hi. We have an odd problem with incoming SIP calls. I have attached a SIP debug log, with some asterisk verbosity as well, demonstrating the problem, below. Is this a known bug? Vital stats: - Asterisk 1.2.3 - Sipura SPA-841, SPA-941 phones - Fedora core 3 The problem manifests itself with these symptoms: - an internal SIP extension receives a call from our PRI - the SIP phone answers the

PAP2-NA Authentication Issues
Hello Folks, I'm an Asterisk newbie, that being said I have managed to get an SPA941 working with 1.2.8. I've got some issues (like getting the voicemail button to work as it should, and making the message indicator light work) but overall I'm pretty happy. I'm now trying to get a PAP2-NA to work. I reset it, have admin access, updated the firmware, and have the same SIP settings

Not Registering Port with VSP.
Hi All, I seem to be having a problem with all my VSPs. When I am registering with them I don't seem to be passing my port number. This problem causes other users the inability to call my VoIP number with the VSP. My VSP showed me what they are seeing. I have changed my useragent to be: Linksys/SPA941-4.1.15 Linksys/SPA941-4.1.15 Contact sip:1234321234@aa.bb.cc.dd with no
