2wav2mp3, monitor, mixmonitor, mpg123, queues
Hello!
I'm using Asterisk for our office telephony, but we have some problems
that still we can't resolve about it. Here they are:
1) merge in/out call recording files
I also tried to use a script I found on the internet, called 2wav2mp3
In extensions.conf I added the following lines
; script to be executed when monitoring has been finished
MONITOR_EXEC=/usr/local/bin/2wav2mp3

Call transfer to cell phone [UPDATE]
Hi!
I tried this in features.conf
testfeature => *9,callee,Dial,CAPI/ISDN4/my_phone_number/b,60,T
and it works... but... I would be able to transfer a call to any phone
number,
so I tried to use this line:
testfeature => _*9.,callee,Dial,CAPI/ISDN4/${EXTEN:2}/b,60,T
but... Asterisk crash! (it doesn't want even to reload configuration)
Any idea about how to do so? Thanks a lot!

Internal DNS logging
Thanks Denis,
I was looking for the option 'dns:x' in the wiki but I didn't find it.
Now it works.
I used
log level = 3 auth:3 dns:0
auth_audit:3 gives me unknown class message
But where I can find a complete list of classes for log level?
I'll also give a try on the last version of samba with json.
Thanks again
Giuseppe

[PATCH] Support for ASEM UPS on Linux/i2c
As said in previous mail, I just finished a first working version of a driver
for the UPS found on ASEM PB1300 device
(http://www.asem.it/prodotti/industrial-automation/box-pcs/performance/pb1300/)
Linux only, accessed through i2c/SMBUS.
If you can spare some time, please review. Expecially my autotools skills are
ehm... a bit rusty.

I am a little confused as to how you are testing this :-)
The driver still wouldn't compile

Re: "virt-install" source location boot disk
Hi Giuseppe... ! Thanks for the hint. ill try it.
So from the docs, I'm seeing this:
"As of Fedora 16 there must be a biosboot partition for the bootloader to
be installed successfully onto a disk that contains a GPT/GUID partition
table, which includes disks initialized by anaconda. This partition may be
created with the kickstart option part biosboot --fstype=biosboot --size=1.

Installation of R-4.3.1 with intel 2022
Note that 'intel 2022' is a bit vague. The current version is 2023.1.0,
and that has both the 'classic' (icc/icpc/ifort which it seems you used)
and new (icx/ixpx/ifx) compilers -- the former are said to be going to
be discontinued later this year. R did not know about ifx so did not
build with the new set.
The parts of the manual Tomas referred to were about the old

Union of columns of two matrices
I was posed the following problem/teaser:
given two matrices, come up with an "elegant" (=fast & short) function that
returns a matrix with all and only the non-duplicated columns of both
matrices; the column order does not matter. In essence, a matrix equivalent
of union(x,y), where x and y are vectors. I could not come with anything
nice. Any ideas?

arrays of lists in R ("cell arrays" in Matlab)
Dear all
I would like to have some data in the form of a 2-dimensional array
(matrix) of lists, so that I can easily find the desired list object by
indexing the structure by rows and columns. In matlab there exists a
data type called "cell array": a matrix of "cells", which are composite
objects very similar to R lists.
I know that in R you can create 1-dimensional

confidence / prediction ellipse
Hi,
I'm using the R library(car) to draw confidence/prediction ellipses in a
scatterplot.
>From what i understood the ellipse() function return an ellipse based
parameters: shape, center, radius .
If i read dataEllipse() function i can see how these parameters are
calculated for a confidence ellipse.
