Zaptel tone description
Lilantha, the tones are supposed to be switched using the loadzone and defaultzone lines in /etc/zaptel.conf , and, progzone in /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf. The information about countries and frequencies/times are at zonedata.c located in the sourcecode of zaptel. As you may know, changing zonedata.c information requires a re-compilation of the zaptel module. Hope it helps, Ricardo

I downloaded it today and installed it on a play system where I have about 20 ip phones ranging from cisco, polycom and aastra phones. 120 concurrent ZAP connections in asterisk open edition. Is that possible?
Hi all, In your experience, what is the maximum number of *concurrent* zap channels that you've ever tried with one box of Asterisk open edition? In my case, the max that I've tried was 63 simultaneous connections in a Quad T1/E1 card installed on a Intel Pentium D 3.4Ghz 2GB ram system. Your comments will be really appreciated. Regards, H?ctor. -------------- next part --------------

Samba 1 vs. 2, locking and Windows Terminal Server Edition
On Samba 1.9.18p10 and previous versions, each of the multiple users on the same Windows Terminal Server Edition machine would get their own smbd process. With Samba 2.0.x (I'm currently testing 2.0.4b), this has changed so that every user on a WTSE machine uses the same smbd process. File ownerships are assigned correctly, but file locking does not work. If one user on a WTSE machine has a

We manage each xen server independently, but we are looking for a central management console. At this moment, I have the doubt about using citrix xenserver (the free edition) or XCP. I didn''t know much

XenServer vs open source
What are the advantages to Citrix''s XenServer vs. an open source solution using some Linux distro that includes a recent hypervisor? I''m interested from the standpoint of embedded systems development, not as a generic VM platform, which is why I''m asking on xen-devel and not xen-users.
