TE11OP -> Mitel 200Sx??
Hello all. I just received a TE110P and am trying to hook it to my Mitel 200SX has anyone successfully done this? My configuration is as follows.
Asterisk -> TE110P ->Kentrox (csu/dsu) -> Mitel T1 Card.
All I get is a blinking yellow on my TE110P card and an alarm on my Mitel. T1 card.
Any advice would be great.

Analog with channel bank - Inbound works, outbound doesn't
I am experimenting with an asterisk setup in my office. The last bit I have to test is working with analog lines. I have TE411p digium card, with an ISDN line plugged into the first, a channel bank plugged into the second port, and the last two ports empty. I have the following setup in my zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
bchan=1-23
dchan=24

fxsks=25
And in zapata.conf, I

Caller ID on E&M Wink
I am an Asterisk newby, and I cannot seem to get Caller ID information
from our T1 line. When calls appear at the phones, they say the call
came from "asterisk" and unknown number.
I know how Caller ID information is passed on an analog phone line
(between the rings) but with a T1 line, I don't know technically how it
is done.
I don't see the caller's number in the

Inbound ANI & DNIS format
Hello,
Being totally fed up with the lack of quality and reliability from both
VoicePulse and BroadVoice,
We are switching to a direct IP connection to Global Crossing. We've
installed a local point-to-point T1 into their CO, and they will
give/take SIP g729a directly and act as the gateway for us.
In setting up the inbound SIP service, they are asking the question, "In

Caller ID and DNIS Problems (Non-Pri T1)
I am trying to receive both CID and DNIS from the telco through a
non-pri T1. Currently I have the T1 setup and operational both outbound
and inbound calls are completed as should be expected. The calls came
in and were placed in the context specified in zapata.conf on exten =>
s,1.
I have requested that the telco provide callerid (they call it ANI)
along with 10 digit dnis for my 800

Robbed Bit T1 Configuration
Is it possible to control the dialing format used when making a call from
asterisk separately from the inbound format? In my case I have a single
robbed-bit T1 configured for featd (to receive ANI and DNIS) on a TE410P.
This configuration works fine for inbound calls, however when an outbound
call is made on this same T1 asterisk dials outbound in the featd format. I
need asterisk to only dial

TE411P and TE406P stability
I am getting ready to purchase my first Digium card to start experimenting with Asterisk. Before I make my purchase, I wanted to make sure I'm not going to have issues with these cards (need to see what the specs are on my box, 5V or 3.3V PCI ). I will be using Asterisk @ Home, so will be Asterisk v1.0.9. I took a quick poke at the lists, and it appears several people have been having

DTMF dropping digits
We have a Te410P with 3 Telco T1's (D4 SF ) with DID's (non-PRI). ANI &
DNIS is received in-band DTMF in a format such as *7145551212*8002*
What happens when there are 30 or more calls, asterisk might see is DNIS =
802 or ANI = 4551212 for examples, where parts of the numbers are dropped.
All the traffic arrives into a simple IVR script where a message is played.

ANI and DNIS Seperation on a PRI (Telephony Numbering Plan (E.164/E.163) (1) '*4105556654*8005550215*' ])
OK I am going to do it again.
Global Crossing is now sending ANI but it is not in the format I expected. Any one know of a way to get this data into two seperate variables? The first number is ANI and the second is DNIS so it is "*tendigits*tendigits* on one line like below.

RBS T1 DID issue
Howdy,
New installation, trying to connect an RBS T1 with AMI/D4 framing and E&M
Wink. Using a Sangoma A102d and asterisk 1.4.22-2 on Centos5 (Trixbox
2.6.2.1).
Outbound calls work fine, but inbound calls fail to read the DID
information, and with debug set to 10 I get the following:

astunicall-1.2.21.0.1 packages and Sangoma A104D - ERROR
Hi All, as good?
I am trying to make a call for the Unicall channels and after the
exchange of signalling and sending of the digits asterisk locks up
with the sending of the signalling "E" and the TELCO says that
asterisk would have to send signalling "F", as to make for asterisk to
send signalling "F"?
The TELCO says that the signalling "E" is

Problems Overwriting CallerID with True ANI
I receive calls over a T1 with callerid and then *ani*dnis*. I am able
to strip out the ani and the dnis in the dialplan but when I try to set
the caller ID to be the ani, it looks ok but then if I do a NoOp
callerid on the next line, I get unknown.
Here is the section of my dialplan:

T1 E&M vs PRI question
Ok,
I'm about to take the plunge, and am trying to decide between Channelized T1 E&M and PRI. I'm getting an "Integrated T1" which will have data and voice capability, all plugged directly into my digium single T1 card. In either case the data piece looks pretty straighforward, just setup the channel properly, hand it off to the linux hdlc layer, and route away.... the

Asterisk 1.4, Unicall and Nextel...
I have a customer that is complaining that any call coming in from
Nextel gives a fast busy. We are running Asterisk 1.4.7.1 with Zaptel
1.4.3 and all the MFC/R2 patches and libraries. All other calls go out
and come in, just Nextel seems to have this problem. The phone company
technician connected a PBX emulator on the line and that one could
receive the calls from Nextel.

R2 protocol error
Hi,
I have three R2 installation on different carriers, all shows the same inconsistency at varying
degree. But, on most test calls we made, it reaches T3. The worst part of these, the carrier
claims that it's my R2 box that is not responding in time. Please, check the attached file and
take note of the timestamp, you'll find that in some call, it already contradict what the carrier
