I installed SPA942 and SPA2101, and experimented with TFTP and HTTP provisioning. It all went smooth for many hours. But then all of a sudden it stopped reading configs from both from TFTP and HTTP. Now I am trying to troubleshoot and cant't find the problem. Once in a while, it does read from TFTP and/or HTTP, but then again, stops reading at all. My other phones, i.e. Grandstream and Aastra

Hi Everyone - I just got my hands on a Cisco 7970 and was told that I should do a factory reset before trying to configure it to work with Asterisk. After the factory reset, it will not boot at all, instead sits with the line button lights flashing one at a time in sequence. Hi All, Has anyone gotten the polycoms or the linksys phones to accept oprtion 66 on the dhcp request for the address of the tftp config server? We have the dhcp server issuing the proper IP of the tftp server, but the phones just sit there and never try to contact the tftp server for their configs. We can see the proper option going from the dhcp to the phones with ethereal trace. Thanks JR

I setup a vonage account last year, and cancelled it last night when I put my asterisk box together and signed up for a Broadvoice account to use with it. Now I would like to use my Linksys router as an MTA, but realize it is still programmed with all of vonage's proprietary information and I do not know how to clear it. I understand that just pushing the reset button will not do it.

I have a linksys SPA 3102 with a DECT phone connected into its Telephone port. It has been working, but something I've done (and I don't know what) means that now everytime asterisk tries to dial it, it says it is busy.
