Sync Source: Internally clocked
Hi whatever I set the span line to in zaptel.conf
ie span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4

[Fwd: using AMP custom extensions]
OK I'm answering my own question but if i add a custom extension in AMP
with no dial string.
Then add a dialstring in extensions_custom.conf like
exten => 600,1,Dial(IAX2/username:password@host/${EXTEN}@from-internal)
it works

Easy created_at/created_on question
I have an easy question that I can''t seem to find an answer to. When I have
a table with a created_at or created_on column I''ve read that Rails will
automatically update these because they are "magic" column names. I assumed
that since this was all supposed to be done in the background that these
columns would not show up in the standard forms that are created by the

read.table with special chars
Hi all,
I am just starting with R and I have come across a problem which I guess
it is easy to solve. I am reading a table with read.table function.
This table contains chars which seem to be problematic when reading them
such as "'" and "#", if I remove these characters fromt the table by
hand the problem disappears. Otherwise, the whole table is not read,
since reading

Question of syslinux chainloading
So when you boot from only your hard drive attached, it is the primary
and only drive.
It loads the master boot record that load the NT Loader boot code that
is then configured to load the operating system from the primary
partition on the primary drive.
When you boot from the USB drive, you make it the Primary drive. You
then tell it to load the MBR fromt the secondary drive. The secondary

Dear group,
I am trying to prepare a NONMEM friendly dataset for population PK
analysis. My patient IDs are 10 digit long and NONMEM is losing precison
and rouding the last couple of digits. I need to generate unique Patient
IDs fromt he current 10-digit IDs. Ihave total 250 subjects so I
appreciate if anybody can suggest me a way to code this in R.

Checking if the VM has been created
I'm a Libvirt newbie and I'd really appreciate it if someone could answer
my doubts. I'm using Libvirt's Java API.
My doubts:
1.Currently, I'm able to create a VM on Ubuntu 11.04 using Libvirt
functions domainCreateLinux() and domainDefineXML(). Apart fromt the
boolean return status of these operations and running the virsh list
command, is there any way to SSH in (login) to

I put a copy of R 1.8.1 for Windows on our FTP site at:

Round-robin with Queue
List,
Okay, here's one that has me stumped, and it might just be something simple.
Currently, we are setup so that when someone calls in and tries to reach
the operator / front desk, it rings several different phones in
sequence. (i.e. it rings the front desk for 15 seconds, then a guy down
the hall from it for 15 seconds, then my desk for 15 seconds, and as a
last resort, my cordless

Maybe it is an idea that someone updates the manpage in this matter. I presume I am not the only one who is confused. Thanks.

I need guidance on better data management in preparation for time series analysis
OK, I have managed to use some of the basic processes of getting data from
my DB, passing it as a whole to something like fitdistr, &c. I know I can
implement most of what I need using a brute force algorithm based on a
series of nested loops. I also know I can handle some of this logic in a
brute force method using a blend of perl and R, with considerable file IO.
But some of what I need

remains the same. I should also mention, if I try smbclient -U guest
and enter an empty password, I can successfully get a browse list fromt
the server. Is there an increased

T1 Sync clarification
Hi List,
After reading a bunch of the docs, list post archives, it
still seems that a clear definition of how to clock the T100P
card is muddy.
zttool says that the link is "INTERNALLY CLOCKED",
does this mean the T100P is providing clock, or does
this mean the T100P is getting clock from the T1 line
side (ergo getting clock from the Telco) ??
If you have sync = 0 then zttool

Sample fromt he real line
Hello R Gurus,
This is a simple enough question, but I am curious as to whether there's an answer... Can R generate a random variable uniformly distributed on -Inf to Inf? Philosophically this doesn't seem possible, and if not, as I imagine so, is there some sort of generally accepted factor I should be multiplying by a Unif(-1,1) rv to sample from the real line?
Thanks,

Asterisk Pbx Manager Equivalent (in plain text - apologies to those that dont like HTML mail!!)
http://www.thirdlane.com/screenshots.htm (Asterisk PBX Manager from
Thirdlane) looks like a great program for "eye candy configuration" of
Asterisk.
However it costs lost of $, and I'm currently only an "experimenter" so to
speak.
Anyone advice of a decent alternative that is similar?? Currently, we only
have VOIP connections, but will have a couple of Digium

[PATCH 8/9] clk: Set clocks to pre suspend state after suspend
The idea is to clear out the saved state, because after a resume we can't
know what the GPU is clocked to. The reclock is triggered by the call to
nvkm_clk_update later in nvkm_clk_init.
