Tools for Remote Monitoring and User Management
Hi all, What are the best and free tools for remotely adding, removing users on Asterisk server and also for monitoring the status of the Asterisk server, like how many users are logged on etc. I need tools for which I don't have to pay. Thanks, Zeeshan A Zakaria www.acabling.com <http://www.acabling.com/> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Putting caller in queue and dialing an extension simultaneously
Hi, Is it possible to do this in extensions.conf to put a caller in queue and dial an agent's extension so that he knows that somebody is in queue waiting to be answered. This agent will be a remote agent and extension will dial his cell phone. Thanks Zach A. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

ztdummy does not load properly at server startup
Hi I run asterisk 1.4.2 with zaptel 1.4.1. Zaptel is only needed for the ztdummy driver to get the Meetme() application to work. I don't have any specific hardware. And it does work nicely. When I reboot the machine however I have to manually load the driver like this: [root@vink ~]# modprobe ztdummy Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf line 0: Unable to open master device

How to register a SIP phone on Asterisk behind NAT
I currently do this for about 30 different cisco 79xx's connecting to some hosted Asterisk servers. Asterisk listens by default for any SIP connection on UDP port 5060. And will use RTP UDP port 10000 to 20000 The phones use UDP Port 5061 for incoming connections (from Asterisks or other SIP Devices) and use for RTP, UDP port 10000 to 20000. Now, if you are going to have the two remote

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of trouble implementing this thing :). By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem, ... The fix suggested on those sites,

I am having trouble setting both variables and global variables thru an extension. I am using Asterisk 1.2.4 with Ztdummy on CentOS 3.4 with an Xlite softphone. I have two xlite phones on diffent computers. One logs in as xlite1 and the other as

MAKEing zaptel and ztdummy on SuSE 9.3 - Repost
Hi, Sorry to re-post, but I'm still having hassles with ztdummy. I'm using kernel 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp and Asterisk 1.0.8 on SuSE 9.3 The first 3 makes (see below) for zaptel work out ok - but the ztdummy.ko (etc) files *are* created even though I haven't yet uncommented ztdummy in Makefile. If the ztdummy bits are compiled, why edit Makefile & run make again? modprobe ztdummy
