DTMF Caller ID w/o polarity inversion
Hi Folks, I've been looking around and found some references of some Caller ID patches (Mantis bug#9) for X100P and TDM400 for Netherlands, Sweden and UK. It's been quite hard to understand what has finally been incorporated to the distribution (if anything) or which patches must be applied in witch snapshot of the repository. I've tried some different approaches but nothing worked

DISA and DTMF detection problem w/ FXO port on a TDM400
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted at http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php?t=18045 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi! I'm trying to configure a DISA setup (Asterisk 1.4.11). Only, executing DISA seems to prevent any DTMF detection capability when using

Ang: Re: Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hi all! I am in the same situation here in Sweden, but I just got the X100 card and don t get it to work with DTMF caller ID. Is the only way to solve this to buy a TDM400 card w FXO modules? Is it just a driver question or a HW issue with the X100 card? Where to find dok about the new keywords in conf files like "cidstart=polarity" in zapata.conf? rgds Gunnar >>>

Caller ID with DTMF
Hi Everyone! I live in Sweden and can not get CallerID to work on analog incoming lines. I m trying to find out if DTMF style CallerID works on a FXO card (X100). I`v seen one solution with a modem attached in parallel with the X100 just to provide the ID on its serial port. It must be much better if this can be implemented in to the X100 driver. Any info about this would be highly appreciated.

DTMF digits lost on TDM400 card
I've been having ongoing problems with my TDM400 FXS ports occasionally not picking up all digits dialled from my analogue handsets. There appears to be no set pattern to it, although number 1 seems to be slightly more frequently missed than other numbers. I've played around with RX Gain settings and used ztmonitor to arrange the input signal between 50 and 75% of the maximum value

I am facing problem with detecting caller id before first ring.I recorded the dahdi channel using dahdi_monitor command. Where I am able to see and hear caller-id dtmf tones. Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hey all, I recently noticed that DTMF caller-ID was implemented in CVS, so I requested the service from my telco (the Dutch KPN) and tried to get it going in Asterisk (current CVS), without success so far. This system has 1 X100P, 2 TDM400P's with 4 FXS-modules each and 2 HFC-PCI ISDN-cards (zaphfc-driver) in it. The analog line I'm trying to get caller-ID working on is obviously on the

Analogue phone w/ TDM400
Hi, I'm running * 1.2.7.1 on Red Hay 9.0 w/ a TDM 400 2 x FXS, 1 x FXO. I'm using a VTech cordless that makes three short beeps when someone another extension is picked up, presumably this lets you know if someone is trying to listen in.. Everything works, except the VTech now makes the three beeps everytime you try to use it, even if another extension is in use. It seems as though the

Current status on _outgoing_ Swedish/Dutch DTMF CLIP for TDM400 FXS interfaces?
Hi all, I have been looking at the code for both the zaptel driver (wctdm.c/wcfxs.c) and the asterisk channel driver (chan_zap.c) trying to figure out how much of this that has been implemented. So far I can see that the current stable 1.0.9.1 zaptel driver don't have the SETPOLARITY ioctl that would be required to properly signal the Swedish/Dutch CLIP, but the 1.2 beta1 has this

ZAP TDM and DTMF issue
Hi, I'm curious if there is any other option beside relaxdtmf in zapata , or any where else to tune dtmf detection on TDM400 fxo boards. in one of our sites provider is giving us 4 analog lines out of Adtran router and Asterisk often recognize DTMF wrong. Obviously playing with relaxdtmf was not helpfull. What do we know anout 1.2 and 1.4 DTMF handling diffrences? At this time i'm using

Serial port DTMF Caller-ID reciever /w scripts for X100P/X101P/Clones....
Since the X100P/X101P/Clone cards does not work in all countries that use DTMF based Caller-ID systems, I've developed a hardware that you connect to a serial port and the PSTN. You then run a perl script "cid_logger.pl" as a daemon, and modify extensions.conf to call an agi script whenever a call comes in, and if it's on the X100 card it will get the caller id information

Dutch/DTMF Caller ID
hi, since development of dtmf caller id under * is prolly going to only be done if someone stumps up the cash I've been looking for alternatives... Hoving found a number of projects which turn out to be mad prototypes or unavailable details i nearly gave up.. then I found this: http://www.artech.com.tw/html/english/ex200/ex200.htm http://www.artech.com.tw/html/english/ex200/ex200me.PDF The

TDM400 seems healthy, but no dialtone??
Folks, I recently swapped a TDM400 FXS card that was working perfectly into a new server (running recent CVS), and it's either misbehaving (unlikely), or I've missed something obvious (much more probable). Everything seems to be working, but I can't get any dialtone from it when I plug a phone into any of the 4 ports!! All of the jacks are lit (green lights) but they all seem dead

Analog lines dtmf problem
Hi I have a problem with dtmf recognition an analog lines connected to Sangoma A200. The digits (in most cases the first one) are doubled and so my IVR is useless. I tried to adjust the rxgain, toneduration and relxing the dtmf but nothing worked. I also noticed one thing it only happens during the background application: exten => s,1,Background(soundfile) exten => 111,1,Dial(SIP/111)

Asterisk cannot read DTMF based CallerID from PSTN
Hello, I am trying to make my Asterisk to recognize CallerID from incoming PSTN calls. I am using a TDM400. CallerID in my country's PSTN is based on DTMF. What makes TDM400 FXS Connection to TELCO go into Off Hook State?
I've been having trouble with making outbound calls to my TELCO from a TDM400 card (FXS KS signalling) after upgrading from 1.6-beta9 to 1.6.0. The problem is completely intermittent. When it fails, I get this message: [Nov 9 19:12:26] WARNING[18916] app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'DAHDI' (cause 0 - Unknown) At some point, it starts working, but I don't know what

1.6.2.1: DTMF trouble with PSTN

The call itself works, but the DTMF tones fail. -- Starting simple switch on 'DAHDI/1-1' -- Executing [6258013 at internal:1] Answer("DAHDI/1-1", "") in new stack -- Executing [6258013 at

Zaptel - delay before dialing last DTMF digit?
I have a TDM22B (TDM400 PCI + 2xFXO + 2xFXS). One FXO is connected to the PSTN. When Asterisk places a call, it dials using DTMF. If I listen in on the line during the dialing, there is a roughly one second pause between the penultimate and the final digit -- proportionally much longer than the pause between the preceeding digits. This accounts for about 25% of the time taken to dial. Anyone

Major problems with TDM400 and specific telephones: suggestions?
Hello! Attached to the bottom of this e-mail is an edited version of an e-mail I originally wrote to Digium tech support regarding Ouch and Power alarm errors I have been receiving on my TDM400. It contains a great deal of detail regarding my setup. In the end, I have found that one of the 5 phones I'm trying to make work with Asterisk is contributing to the generation of these errors.

TDM400 on BT network in UK
I'm considering purchasing a Digium TDM400 card with FXO module to connect my asterisk box up to BT's PSTN. I've searched Google and have found that in the past there have been problems with this card detecting the calling party hangup. I am interested to know if this issue has now been resolved and if UK caller ID is now fully supported. Also if anybody using the card in the UK is
