Fritzbox as the DSL router.
Now I want to use the linux system as a VPN router so other devices on the

T.38 faxing with spandsp and Grandstream HT.486
Hello !
I 'm trying T.38 faxig with spandsp using rxfax/txfax as fax terminal.
As another endpoint I 'm using Grandstream HT 486 ATA and a fax machine.
Has anybody success with the HT486 as T.38 terminal ?
ATA as originator: I managed only onetimes a successfull T.38 fax
session. The other times the HT486 did not initiate a re-invite with
T.38 parameters. Or shall the Terminator

nls fitting problems (singularity)
Hallo!
I have a problem with fitting data with nls. The first
example with y1 (data frame df1) shows an error, the
second works fine.
Is there a possibility to get a fit (e.g. JMP can fit
also data I can not manage to fit with R). Sometimes I
also got an error singularity with starting
parameters.

EuroISDN+ and Callers name
I'm running chan_capi on a number of systems in France, France Telecom
offer the possibility of having the caller's name, but say we must
configure for EuroISDN+. Google doesn't show much and the best I could
see was in Dutch.
Any Europeans solved this one?

Asterisk and AVM FritzBox Fon (Germany)
Hello everyone,
I've some stange problems with my "AVM FritzBox Fon"
and Asterisk.
I want to build up an internal SIP Network for testing
purposes.
I can phone with my Grandstream BT-101 to other BT-101
or SIP-Software, but not to my AVM FritzBox Fon. It
looks like the Box connects successfully to Asterisk,

[LLVMdev] Optimization hints for "constant" loads
I'm looking at how to optimize IR which contains reads from a field
which is known to be initialized exactly once. I've got an idea on how
to approach this, but wanted to see if others have alternate ideas or
similar problems which might spark discussion. It feels like there's a
potentially generally useful optimization hint here if we can generalize
it sufficiently without

openssh 7.6p1-lp150.7.4 on OpenSuse Leap 15 (both server and client)
Hi all,
first post to list, hopefully on-topic. Haven't found anything on the net, tried to ask at first in OpenSuse forums a
while ago (https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/533588-rsnapshot-rsync-massive-performance-decrease) and today
opened a bug in OpenSuse's Bugzilla

Servus Philipp,
Unfortunately the traceroute(6) results are both more or less random. Sometimes traceroute "hangs" a while, wherever,
sometimes traceroute6. Sometimes traceroute is faster, sometimes traceroute6. Not reliable.
Your MTU question, tried as adviced:
Maximum size for IPv4 is 1466, and max size for IPv6 is 1444. Exceeding these values leads to a "ping: local error:

Voice "broken" during calls
Hello Luca,
We are still playing with visualization of your data, but I didn't want
you to wait any longer for some results. I think I blame both DT and
the Pi :)
First, a look at the phone side of your Banana Pi. The first thing we
noticed is there were a LOT more packets in one direction (north towards
DT) than the other (towards the phone):

Music on Hold restart at beginning for each call
I am using the m option on the dial command to play a message instead of ringing. The message is something like "please wait while I try to locate your party" so I need it to start at the beginning for each call. I think there might be a way in 1.2.x be we are not ready to upgrade yet so a solution for 1.0.9 is what I am after. Thanks.

Asterisk and hylafax: how to debug ...
Hi,
I hope you might give me some hints on how to find where my
configuration is wrong, I am new to Asterisk and do not know, how to
find the problem.
Running Asterisk (version: 1.8.13.1~dfsg-3) on Debian Wheezy. On the
same maschine: Hylafax fax server. I want hylafax to use t38modem (a
virtual T.38 modem) for sending faxes. t38modem schould connect to
asterisk on the same host.

anonymous caller id causes crash
Hi everybody,
this is not directly related to Asterisk, but I'm sure this is the place
to get an answer:
Even with Asterisk not running, the entire system will crash when a call
comes in through CAPI. This only happens when the caller does not submit
his caller-id.
I'm using the following setup:
AMD Athlon 64Bit
Open SUSE 10
AVM FritzCard 2.0 PCI

help text display with wrapped text
Hi,
I''ve been experimenting with wxruby for a bit, but am still a relative newcomer.
I find myself wanting to do something that I think should be pretty staight-
forward, but I can''t quite figure out how do it from the documentation. I wish
to create a simple help screen, i.e., a simple window that pops up in response
to a menu selection or a hot-key and displays static text.
