Agents and Chanspy
I would like to use chanspy and restrict it to Agent channels. Then setup it on an extension for the supervisor to monitor people taking calls from the queue and making outbound calls. Is there a way to use the agent channel with outbound calls? I don't want to record the calls(which AgentMonitorOutgoing seems to do), just kinda flag them so that they can be spyed upon. getting agentID and DNID help

chanspy not working with Agents
I'm trying to spy on an agent (Agent/54321). I can "dial(Agent/54321)" successfully. If I "chanspy(Agent/54321)" or "chanspy(Agent)" all I get is a series of beeps. ChanSpy doesn't hangs up

How can i activate "ChanSpy" to spy on a dedicated extension? I see the following in "/etc/asterisk/extensions_additional.conf" [chanspy] include => chanspy-custom exten => 501**,1,Chanspy(801) exten => 501**,n,Hangup exten => 502**,1,Chanspy(802) exten => 502**,n,Hangup But when i try to call "501**", it doesn't give any response. Chanspy Specifying Agent not Working
I use chanspy to listen to agents for QA. It works great for listening to random conversations. * works to switch between calls. I cannot however specify the agent I want to listen to. I dial the agent's extension and press # but get connected to some random conversation, not the one I dialed. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks, Steve

Stopping chanspy
I would like to be able to stop the chanspy application and go to the next step in the dialplan but I do not see a way to do that. I have looked at the code and I do not see a way to stop the chanspy application. Even if there are no channels that match the chanprefix pattern the chanspy application is not exited. Stopping chanspy followup
I am still trying to figure out a reasonable way to exit the chanspy application in a dialplan. For the most part I understand how things are working and there is one change I would like to propose. The way the 1.4.23.1 code seems to work is that if there are no channels that match the chanprefix argument the chanspy code stays in a loop waiting for a new channel to come into being that matches

exit ChanSpy with DTMF
Part of a supervisor menu I'm writing requires that I allow the supervisor to choose to ChanSpy a channel from the main menu then return back to the menu to choose other options when she's done. Is there a way to 'exit' ChanSpy and continue down the dialplan? Or is a caller stuck in ChanSpy until they hangup the phone? Thanks. George
