Remapping Polycom IP501 buttons
Hi,
Just started using an asterisk-based PBX with Polycom IP501 phones. Am
Fairly satisfied and am starting to get into FTP setup of the phones.
Have figured out most things except for how button remapping works.
In sip.cfg, I have this entry:
<keys key.IP_500.31.function.prim="DoNotDisturb"></keys>
This works as expected but if I try to change the remapping to any

Polycom: Button Remapping, HELP!
I need to find a way to have the Polycom phones automatically park
calls. Right now my users hit #70# (I know the last # is optional but
it speeds it up.) to park a call. Personally I think this is easy, but
my users would like one button to do this for them. The Polycom has
buttons we don't need (Transfer & Services), it would be nice if I could
remap one of those buttons to dial

RE: Polycom buddies question
A follow up (late better than never)
Finally had time to sit down and look at this
sip.cfg
<keys key.scrolling.timeout="1"
key.IP_500.31.function.prim="BuddyStatus"/>
This turns the Services key which I never use on a 501 into the Buddy
Status. It even works while on a call. One touch!

Cisco 7961 + 7914, speeddials, BLF & Asterisk 1.4?
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with a Cisco 7961 + 7914 Operator
Console setup and speeddials/BLF on Asterisk 1.4? Would appreciate
feedback if this works reliably. I have a 7961 on skinny registering on
an 1.4.19 box with chan_sccp and speeddials work fine so that part seems
ok. I have no experience with the BLF part.

7970 8.x firmware speeddials
Hi,
Does anyone know how to define speeddials in XML for the 7970 sip
firmware?. I've played with the SEP<mac>.cnf.xml file that was posted
previously but can't find a way to do it. I can define them on the
phone usually (seems a bit buggy) but if the phone reboots they get lost
from the config. Does anyone know a way to do this?
I'm guessing it could be within the

Example Polycom function key config
Hi,
Has anyone here reprogrammed their Polycom features keys using
sip/ipmid.cfg?
If so I would be really grateful if someone could send me an example as
I have tried various entries for hours now and don't seem to be getting
anywhere.
Any help appreciated.
Kind regards

reset Polycom phones remotely
I have provisioned a bunch of Polycom 301 phones to get the config files
from my ftp server. Out of the 4 phones 2 get the config file however the
other 2 cannot contact the boot server. I have reboot the phones a number
of times remotely (the client is 400 km away) through vnc and logging onto
the web config internally. No matter what I change on the web config page
it is not saved. I feel I

Polycom Intercom - almost there
Ok so I added to my Freepbx config running Asterisk 1.2.4 in
extensions_custom.conf
; intercom
exten => _7XXX,1,SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: Auto Answer)
exten => _7XXX,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:1},12,Tt)
and configured my Polycoms via this page
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Polycom+auto-answer+config for auto
answer and that works fine if I dial 7 then the 3 digit extension.

Concatenation
I have this:
<%= @tech_standard.category + " " + @tech_standard.point + "." +
@tech_standard.subpoint %>
I get this error:
cannot convert Fixnum into String
point and subpoint are number.
How do I concatenate those values?

Why doesn''t this work!
I have this in my controller...
@tech_standards = TechStandard.find_by_sql("SELECT * FROM tech_standards
WHERE subpoint <> 0")
Everything is fine except when I look at my view I still get supoints
that are 0. When I run this query in my query browser I don''t.

SpeedDial on GXP-2000
How can you store "pauses" in speed dials for the GXP-2000? I used
something like 8005551212,,,1,7890 to dial the toll free number, wait
6 seconds (I'm used to the commas being a 2 second delay), pressing
1, waiting 2 more seconds and then entering 7890. However, when I
press the speeddial button, the phone freezes.
Thanks,

[PATCH] qemu-xen: support PV on HVM MSIX remapping
Support PV on HVM MSIX remapping
The technique is the same used with MSI: if the guest enables an MSIX
passing 0 as vector number, then read the address and use it as pirq
number for the following mapping request to Xen.

[PATCH] [VTD] Add a check for interrupt remapping of ioapic RTE
For IOAPIC interrupt remapping, it only needs to remap ioapci RTE,
should not remap other IOAPIC registers, which are IOAPIC ID, VERSION
and Arbitration ID. This patch adds the check for this and only remap
ioapci RTE.

Unable to delete from Windows after remapping drive
I removed a mapped drive (over a UNIX share) and then mapped it once more to the original location.
However, now I cannot delete files in that folder but can create them.
Could anyone please assist?

tftpd-hpa filename remapping
I cannot seem to get the remap-file function of tftpd working right. I can sucessfully place files on the server but the remap feature is not working. I look in the logfile and it has an entry in there for tftpd.

[PATCH] [VTD] Fix MSI-x interrupt remapping
MSI-x may have multiple vectors, however in current interrupt remapping
code, one device only has one entry in interrupt remapping table.
This patch adds ''remap_index'' in msi_desc structure to track its index
in interrupt remapping table.

Remapping Serial Keyboard Input with SYSLINUX
I have a system with a Matrix Orbital keypad (only) on ttyS0 which
generates it own strange bytes when keys are pressed. Is there something
similar to the KBDMAP directive but for serial input?
This is a serious problem for us (i.e. we have to remap the 'L'
character to be interpreted the same as an "Enter" (i.e. <cr>)) and so
if there isn't a way of doing this
