I am running with the following software versions on a Dell PE2550 dual-processor server that is not under load;

Asterisk add-ons upgrade
I have running Asterisk 1.2.5 with addons 1.2.1. on Fedora Core 4. I have installed ooh323 from 1.2.1 addons. How to upgrade addons to 1.2.2 version and install new ooh323 driver? Do I need to install addons 1.2.2 if I only need new ooh323 driver? Can I just untar addons, and run "make clean; make; make install" and then execute following cd asterisk-ooh323c ./configure make make

I used: cvs checkout zaptel libpri asterisk asterisk-addons asterisk-sounds iaxyprov astcc and in the same order I try to compile it. Asterisk ends with the lines below. asterisk doesn't know version of asterisk-addons?
Hi! I noticed when upgrading asterisk that the latest version of asterisk is not recognizing the version of asterisk-addons properly. When you clean out /usr/lib/asterisk/modules and then install zaptel-1.2.12 -> libpri-1.2.4 -> asterisk 1.2.14 -> asterisk-addons-1.2.5 and then you compile and install asterisk *again* it complains that the modules of asterisk-addons are not built

Here are the specifics: Linux Kernel 2.5.9-42.0.8.EL Asterisk 1.4.0 I compiled libpri, zaptel, asterisk and asterisk-addons (in that order). This is a fresh install of CentOS. Following the CentOS install, I did "yum -y update" until there were no updates left. Here is my src directory: drwxr-xr-x 24 root root

Asterisk 1.6 produces *many* zombie processes on Debian.
We have an issue with our Asterisk install where Asterisk produces many Zombie processes (on the order of several hundred per minute) until either the Asterisk server is restarted (and the zombies die a natural death), or the kernel runs out of PID space (happens within hours) and brings the system to a halt. This problem only happens when the server is under some non-trivial load. We were
