TDM400P problems with 1 FXS, 1 FXO
Hi-
I'm totally stumped configuring my TDM400P with one FXS and one FXO
module. Before I got the FXO module, I used to have an X101P, and
everything was working very well. Now * doesn't seem to recognize the
FXO channel. I've searched the wiki and the list archives. Stock Debian
3.0 stable installation. Any advice? Thanks.

S110M (FXS) Modules no longer seen on TDM400P
I have a TDM21B (A new TDM20B that just arrived plus a X100M that I
already had). This card sometimes works, and sometimes only the FXO
module is seen.
(correction to previous message that incorrectly listed X400M/S400M when
I'm using only the single port versions of these modules (X100M/S110M).

TDM400P FXS works only if two lines are off hook?
I have a TDM400P with one FXO module and two FXS modules in it. I also
have a Wildcard X101P.
After trying hard to get things working on various Intel computers, but
having echo problems that made it not really usable, I decided to try it
on some older PowerPC (Macintosh) hardware running Yellow Dog Linux.
Things started off smoothly. Both zaptel and asterisk seemed to compile
okay, and both

TDM400P with FXO/FXS hangup problem
Hello,
I've got an Asterisk server with a TDM400P with 2 FXO modules and 2 FXS
modules. This server is connected to 2 PSTN lines and 2 analog phones.
In my Zaptel configuration, I've defined 2 groups : one for the 2 FXO's
and one for the 2 FXS. The asterisk server is just used to add a little
IVR and Voicemail service.
Eveything works fine, but sometimes the conversation is

Problem getting TDM400P clone card to go off-hook and dial
I am having problems getting a Nicherons TDM400P wildcard clone to dial out.
Everything appears to be configured correctly, but although I see call
progress, it never seems to actually pick up the phone.
(The following is a test of 911 emergency, where I substitute 811 [repair
service] as the actual number dialed.)

TDM400P FXO and Primus TalkBroadBand
Hi all,
A while back, there was a short thread on using the FXS interface from
a Primus TalkBroadBand device (a DLink ATA) as a incoming line for the
FXO interface on the TDM400P:
Primus <--> DLink ATA FXS <--> TDM400P FXO <--> Asterisk
In that thread, a couple of people suggested that this does not work
reliabley, and the ATA FXS <--> TDM FXO link 'goes

Settings for SIP to dial PSTN with TDM400P w/FXO module
I've setup * with TDM400P w/1 FXS, 3 FXO modules.
I've one analog phone connected to TDM400P FXS module, 1 PSTN line to one of the FXO module(ZAP) , and 2 analog phones connected to Sipura 2000 (SIP).
The calls between SIPs and zap phone (fxs) are OK. But 2 issues cannot be solved:

Zap FXO/FXS issues, 1.2.0-beta1
We're having issues with the FXO/FXS ports on our Digium TDM cards
sporadically. I'm wondering if anyone else has had these problems, or if
anyone can provide guidance diagnosing or fixing the issue?
The symptoms are that the FXO and FXS ports "stop working", usually
after 2-4 weeks of server uptime. When this happens, sending a (SIP)
call to an analog phone on an FXS port

TDM400p FXS not sending caller id info?
I have a Digium TDM400p (1 FXO, 1 FXS) with the FXS module connected to
a standard analog handset with caller id display (US caller ID).
Although it appears that caller id information is coming into asterisk
(it shows up in voicemail), I can not get it to display on the analog
handset.
Is there anything special I need to do to send the caller id info out
the FXS port? I've tried a few

Thanks for the suggestion. I have busydetect=yes in zapata.conf.
You refer to "Martin's algorithm". Can you provide more details please?

Someone please explain FXO/FXS module/channel relationships in Zaptel configuration to me
Please explain the relationship between modules from the driver
(wctdm), the /etc/zaptel.conf file and zapata.conf. Specifically, if
I have a FXS module 0 and FXO module 1, what should be used in
zaptel.conf and what should be used in zapata.conf? Then finally, in
extensions.conf, what is the Zap channel for dialing out? Zap/?

Possibly bad FXS module in TDM400P?
I've got the latest zaptel and cvs asterisk software loaded on my phone
server running FC3. And yes, It's fully updated and udev is setup
correctly. I've got a TDM400P with one FXS and one FXO module
installed. When I load zaptel and wctdm and run ztcfg -vvv, I get this:
[root@asterisk ~]# ztcfg -vvv
ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: No such device or address (6)

Dead FXO Module on TDM400P?
Since the irc channel wasn't any help, I will try posting my problem here.
I have two TDM400Ps less than a week old in a PC. All of the FXS ports
work fine, and all of the FXO ports worked fine up until thisafternoon. If
I try to dial in, I get a busy signal, if I try to dial out, all I hear
is a very scratchy, very crackly dialtone. If I swap the first FXO module
with the second on the card,

PSTN/phone/FXO/FXS cabling issue
I just received a Wildcard TDM400P by FedEx yesterday. I noticed that
the FXO/FXS modules use connectors similar to Ethernet.
Now, i want to connect the TDM400P to the PSTN connector in the wall,
and also to a regular analog phone. Both the PSTN conn and the phone use
smaller connectors, typical for analog phones.
I searched the "official" docs and the Wiki, there's good

tdm400p fxo not working
Dear all.
I have a tdm400p with an FXO module in slot 4 and an FXS module in slot 1.
I have not configured the FXS port in an attempt to keep things simple.
The problem is that when I call the POTS number (assigned by phone company) asterisk is seeing the call but then not doing anything with it.
The verbose output from asterisk is as follows:

TDM400p FXO module always offhook
I have a TDM400p with 3 FXS mods and 1 FXO mod. I have all set up with
what seems to be correct settings (according to digium and asterisk wiki).
As soon as I plug in my POTS line into FXO mod the line goes into offhook
state (whether I have power to the card or not). Should this happen?
When I try to call * box all I get is busy signal. I've installed stable
version, cvs version, change

Detecting disconnect on TDM400P with 3 FXO ports and 1 FXS port
Hellow everyone, here's an other newby question.
I've got a * configured with the card in the subject line. At times Asterisk
fails to notice a disconet from the incoming line going into one of the FXO
ports. Consequently it just keeps the line off-hook for ever and that causes
my provider to mark the line aut of order.
Is there any way to "help" Asterisk notice the disconect?
