Crashing dom0 by unloading mISDN
Hi,
I have a Fedora 7 xen system with a domU to which I have delegated via
pciback two isdn pci cards. One is a HFC-S card, the other a AVM
Fritz!Card Pci 2.0.
In the domU I load mISDN drivers for the cards. The two cards are
recognized and function well UNTIL I either decide to unload one or both
of the card driver modules (hfcpci and avmfritz) or I decide to shut
down the domU. At this

mISDN & Asterisk 1.4: HFC-S card not responsive
Hi,
I have installed Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN with the
install-asterisk.tar.gz script from beronet.com. On my system I have two
cards, one a AVM Frit!Card Pci 2.0 and one HFC-S chip. I know both to
work well with mISDN on my system from a previous installation.
Now however, the AVM card works well at first glance, i.e. it
"registers" incoming calls and works through the asterisk

unable to use misdn group dial
I have set up a * box with two hfc ISDN pci cards
using mISDN both in TE mode with PmP mode.
(using $MODPROBE hfcpci protocol=0x2,0x2
layermask=0xf,0xf)
I have no problem dialing out by explicitly naming the
mISDN port, ex: Dial(mISND/1/${EXTEN},60)
or Dial(mISDN/2/${EXTEN},60)
But it does NOT work when specifying the mISDN group:
exten =>

echotraining=yes in misdn.conf is invalid or out of range.
Hi.
I'm having problems with chan_mISDN configuration. Line
"echotraining=yes" causes warning, when Asterisk is parsing misdn.conf
and I'm confused why the PBX doesn't accept the setting. No matter
which section I try to offer it, it is always invalid or out of range.
The setting itself is supposed to be valid, it is in the sample
configuration file of chan_mISDN 0.3.1.

Problem with mISDN and HFC-Cards in Asterisk-DomU
Hello,
I am having problems, getting my asterisk-domU to work properly. It consists
of the following components:
- Debian Etch under Xen-3.1 with a 2.6.18-kernel
- Asterisk 1.2.24
- mISDN-1.1.5
I have 2 HFC-ISDN-cards, which I pass through to the Asterisk-DomU in
permissive mode. This is working fine.
The strange problem is, that the two HFC-ISDN-cards are not beeing initialized

interconnecting an asterisk server with an old alcatel PBX through a Digium B410P
Hi guys,
I need to interconnect an asterisk server (1.4.17) with an alcatel pbx,
because i want that an asterisk extension can call an alcatel extension
and viceversa. I need to do this throug a NT port (of the digium card)
for technical reasons (linked with alcatel hardware).
Card installation was fine, but i'm not sure of the configuration i
choose. In /etc/misdn-init.conf i put my

mISDN: No DID/extension information returns busy to caller
I'm running a setup with chan_misdn on a austrian PTP-line. When
somebody dials in without an extension, he gets a busy signal.
I don't see the call at all in asterisk.
I *have* set immediate=yes in misdn.conf. And I *do* have an s-extension
in my dialplan for the context used by misdn. Calls that provide an
extension work fine.
Attached is my misdn.conf and a verbose 3, misdn set debug

Hello Armin, hello List
I'm trying to get chan_capi working with asterisk from debian stable
(asterisk 1.0.7, the debian version number is 1:1.0.7.dfsg.1-2).
I managed to get it compiled by providing my own version of
ast_copy_string.
This is an Austrian PTP line. I can do outgoing calls fine (no
comprehensive tests yet). For incoming calls, I'm getting "No answer"

Intermittent metallic voice SIP->ISDN ISDN<-SIP

I'm fighting with a really strange problem that is really busting me.
I have an asterisk 1.4.22 ( from a trixbox 2.6.2 ) and mISDN 1.1.7

What happens is that sometimes the people on the other side of communication hear my
voice as metallic and chopped. This happen either on incoming call than on outgoing
call.

Asterisk-1.2 and Centos 5
Hi All
Has anyone experienced a crash specific to asterisk 1.2 and Centos 5
when using the misdn hfcpci module that comes with zaptel?
I have an asterisk pack based on asterisk-1.2.17 that I have been using
on dozens of machines that are rock solid and stable. Today when I
tried moving it to Centos 5 I experienced a complete OS crash when
calling over HFC misdn channels. Didn't really

Fritz, mISDN, Help
A plea to all!
Has anyone had any success with two or more avm fritz pci cards with either
misdn, chan_misdn, or chan_capi, and any version of linux 2.6.x?
I have managed to get misdn to load under 2.6.13 and detect two cards using
misdn-capi and chan-capi (using capiinfo and capi info under asterisk) - but
the second card/controller doesn't answer or dial calls.
But if I try misdn
