Announcement: Snom 360 with integrated XML O bjects
that is *very* cool. However, I am somewhat concerned about being forced to license the firmware (even if it is free) can you comment for the list the rationale behind forcing a license and how this might affect Snom users who, say, want to DOWN grade their firmware? ps is there a timetable for supported, formally released firmware version? -----Original Message----- From: Hirosh Dabui

Adding more to stats.xml WAS:Source XML for status.xsl
/me grumbles about upcoming finals: I note that the mountpoint entry displays the current songs title and artist, but not the album. In the particular case of my station, album is often more important (recognizable) as there are a variety of pop/classical artists who do music for anime. So I'd like to add an album nature but am going to need a quick overview on how stats.xml is generated.

serving crossdomain.xml from icecast web-root
Eric, David The way to do that is by using something called a proxy script. Simply the code goes out to your source server, reads the xml, and then relays it on your local server. You can find more information about this by going to: http://xmlrpcflash.mattism.com/proxy_info.php Or if you wanted to just try a simple one, you can create a file called proxy.php and paste this code into it:

Call Pickup with 1.6.2.1 and Snom
Hi, I've used various patches with asterisk 1.4 to have support for call pickup and notification with good results. Now I'm trying vanilla 1.6.2 with its official support for "dialog-info +xml" notifications with no success. This is what i'm doing: - Phone A has a key configured as type "extension" pointing to Phone B. - In sip.conf I added

We are using a Cisco Catalyst Epress 500 to power the phones (poe), however if i power hem via the adapter and hook them up to a hub instead of the switch the phone

Dialing the Phone from OS X Address Book with AppleScript, XML-RPC, PHP and Asterisk
I run an Apple OS X workstation and I've got a server on the same LAN that's both a webserver and an Asterisk PBX. I wanted to be able to originate calls in the OS X Address Book application, and have Asterisk dial them and connect them to the phone on my desk. I've assembled a system that uses AppleScript to connect, via XML-RPC, to a web application that, in turn, connects to

hi, i just ported the patch of David Hinkle http://www.mail-archive.com/asterisk-users@lists.digium.com/msg49781.html to the current cvs version of asterisk. the theory is that the leds of supervisioned extensions are blinking until a call is established whereafter the leds should be constantly lit. however it's not working. the asterisk server is sending the following xml notify to the

SIP hardphones with xml/html/xhtml/microbrowser support?
What hardphones support xml/html/xhmtl/microbrowser? I need an inexpensive SIP hardphone that can run simple applications (queue status, etc). The phones I know of: Aastra 480i, 9112i, 9133i (though limited by 3 LCD lines on the 91xx seems kind of silly) Cisco 79xx Mitel 5235 Polycom IP601 Any others? -Dan

Snom 360 lights not working on subscription
Dear friends, I am working around with a Snom 360 and Asterisk 1.4 + FreePBX In order to get subscriptions working and the Snom 360 lights turns on, I have set everything just like all the pages in the net explain. So, I get subsciption working. I can list subscription on the asterisk and if I use the SIP trace function built in at the SNOM nad see NOTIFY messages and 200 OK responses.

Agents, queues and Pentalties
List, I've got 2 queues with 10 agents in both queues. One of the agents is mainly responsible for queue_1, and the others mainly for queue_2 so i've defined the following in my queues.conf [queue_1] strategy=ringall member=>Agent/1,2 member=>Agent/2,1 member=>Agent/3,1 member=>Agent/4,1 [queue_2] strategy=ringall member=>Agent/1,1 member=>Agent/2,2

I have no prob seeing stats with mozilla. Icecast has come so far in a year. Last year at this time there was no need for stats. hehe We were just glad to get the stream out. <p><p>HidayahOnline.org Admin wrote: > >> >> This stats file is a sort of "virtual file", created by icecast on >> demand. Reading XML-file + saving to sqlite3 database
Hi! I''m new with Ruby On Rails, so I don''t really know how I can get this fixed. As a result of a program, I''ve got +/- 20 XML files, and I would like to import them to my sqlite3 database. Each XML-file having it''s own table. Now I think I need to read the xml-files first and process them later. I''ve done some research and found REXML, but I

Example Polycom XML applications, anyone?
I know that Cisco 79xx phones support XML applications being launched from the screen, and I've seen that the Polycom phones claim to have the same feature. Before I throw myself into the rat's nest of learning how to do it, does anyone have any sample XML applications for the Polycom phones, specifically integration with Asterisk (though any samples will do)?
