kbcached tuning on CentOS 4
Hello, I've been searching to no end at how to tune at what interval (or size) kbcached will be flushed. I had been chasing a potential memory leak until "sar -r", had revealed that all the "mysteriously used" memory was actually being taken up by the kernel data cache. It is chewing up all unused memory on the system slowly over time, which is a concern. Various

Support policy CentOS 5
Hi list Can someone tell me what the exact CentOS policy for end-of-life is for 5.0? Let me explain: I have been using RHEL for a number of years and had to switch to Fedora for installing some packages only supported under F6. As I find Fedora's policy for release life duration too stringent (and I do no longer need the packages that made me choose F6), I'm considering switching over

Centos and colocation....
Well, I finally did it..and used centos. I started out in 1997 with my little website with not much on it. It was a shared host account. Eventually I added some more sites and got to grow out and went to this new fangled thing called VPS. Lots of problems plagued me throughout that experience, some on ensim control panel, some on others. When chost.net (think that was their name) blew up (1999

Mark facility in CentOS
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all! This is my first message to the list. Some time ago I'm user of Debian GNU/Linux and recently I also started to use CentOS GNU/Linux. Does anyone know how to enable the mark facility on CentOS? According to what I was seeing, unlike Debian GNU/Linux, which uses rsyslog, CentOS still uses the traditional syslog where the parameters to be

Hi, I saw there's one "Commercial Support" in "Support" menu on CentOS main page, but it's blank. Actually I'm looking for the commercial support for CentOS, is there anyone or organization which is doing this? Thank you very much. -- Best regards, Daniel -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
