Please help with advise on wine storage
Hi everyone,
I have a small problem. I bought a bottle of red wine from my home outside the UK. It is a gift for a professor who I much admire. Unfortuately I have not been able to get to her office in the last month so I had to store the wine in my bedroom. It is in a box etc and of course I am storing it lying down however I am worried that with the current weather of having 20 - 25 degrees

Current master browser = UKNOWN
samba 2.2.5
We use an NT PDC for password authentication
and an NT WINS server.
Both of those systems are on a different subnet.
I have setup remote announce = <PDC subnet broadcast< and
remote browse sync = <WINS server IP>
Do I have to setup the SAMBA server as a master browser?
I don't want to mess things up with the WINS servers.
Thanks

best way to design uknown depth of subcategories
Hello,
What would be the best way to design a table of posts that belong to a
unknown depth of categories. Say i wanted to display the posts of data (i.e.,
craigslist) but the category could be something like
NewYork/RealEstate/Housing/ForSale/ByOwner. Would acts_as_tree work best
here and assign each sublevel to a different id? just trying to take the
easiest approach here using the best

Codec "Uknown" with IAX connection
I am having some problems getting TelIax service to work with *. Outbound
calls work just fine. When I try an inbound call the phone rings and there
is no audio. Upon further investigation "iax2 show channels" indicates
that the codec is "unknown" The provider confirmed that they are set for
ulaw and so am I. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the codecs

Getting a blank page for uknown reason
I have a model that represents a Player, and within that there is a
method that calculates wins and losses for that player based on a how
they did in databases that are in the DB. When this calculation is over
it is supposed to show a summary of the calculation. When testing it on
my local machine using Webrick it works fine, but when I put it on my
web server, after the calculation is done

Winbind: Kerberos or not Kerberos?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi all
Winbind supports kerberos. Fine!
Now I've set up a Samba 3 member server to a W2k ADS runing in Native Mode,
but did not specify and LDAP or Kerberos stuff in smb.conf.
Does winbind/samba do kerberos all by itself if hitting a ADS in Native Mode
or do you have to configure it explicitly?
How can I check if kerberos is being used or if

Tru64 Unix vs. OpenSSH 2.9p2
Hi,
We installed OpenSSH 2.9p2 with OpenSSL 0.9.6b on our Compaq Alpha ES40
running Tru64 Unix 5.0a. We've been having problems where one of our
users appears in the output of "w" and is associated with a pseudoterminal
even though he has no processes attached to that pty.
The problem can be reproduced by connecting to the localhost host
via ssh using protocol version 2, and then

Latest updated scap-security-guide signed with wrong GPG key
Hi,
Today I tried to update my CentOS 7.5 with latest updates, but it fails to
verify the signature of one of the packages:

scap-security-guide noarch 0.1.36-9.el7.centos

It seems like this RPM was signed with AltArch PowerPC key (see further

Making password driven SSH 'immune' to MTM attacks.
[I know this is the 'port' list, but I can't find a better place to post
this, and with the garbage going on @slashdot I figured I'd get this out.
This belongs on sci.crypt or a general OpenSSH mailing list]
First, a quick rehash of stuff everyone here already knows,
OpenSSH can use two major forms of authentication:
1. Password
2. RSA keys
The RSA method is good because it

You are using a slash in your format string to separate sub-fields but your data uses a dash.

Why it is so, and how to solve it? May someone help me with this problem?
Thanks.
