Help troubleshooting "find_domain_master_name_query_fail" on SMB v4?
I'm running smbd -V Version 4.1.0rc2-3.1-3075-SUSE-oS12.3-x86_64 This is a standalone server, and the only SMB/CIFS instance on my LAN. On launch, I see the following "find_domain_master_name_query_fail" error in logs. I can't track down what I've managed to do wrong; pointers appreciated. ==> log.nmbd <== [2013/09/07 16:21:41, 2]

masq - pings and connections get dropped after PREROUTING?
Hello, I have a pretty standard two-interface setup with masquerading, so the local network can connect through the firewall to the Internet. On the firewall box (trevor), eth0 is connected to a cable modem and eth1 is connected to the local network via a crossed cable. There is one other machine on the local network (brian), whose eth0 is at the other end of the crossed cable. I used to have

Hello all, I am running * 1.2.6 I have 2 linksys PAP2 with two phones each. Until recently all was good. on Friday I was running 1.2.5 when I added the fourth phone. I then tried to call from one line to the

Starting From Scratch
Hello all: For fun, I am learning about Asterisk, and trying to get Asterisk working at my house. I installed Asterisk@Home. It seems to be functioning fine. I installed a couple of softphones, and have them registered with Asterisk. I actually work for a CLEC, and I have registered my Asterisk box with SER (which I don't begin to understand yet) at the office. In order to try to

Then, what I'd try is 1) With an other directory like /mnt/xxx just to make sure it's not something with /home that it doesn't like. 2) See what it's doing by running it with strace -f mount..... limit number of TCP connections.
Hi all. I have a simple question. Is that a way to limit the number os TCP or UDP connection of a single HOST in my network? For exemple: I have a host with IP 192.168.1.202 and he is using edonkey, Kazaa, and Bittorrent at the same time, and he also is infected by a virus that opens more than 500 TCP ports at the same time. So, i want to limit that host to be able to open no more then 30 TCP

nfs4 problem in CENTOS6
Hi, This is slightly offtopic, but I have been trying to resolve that problem for two days now without much success. It looks like this may be something that works with CENTOS5, but not with CENTOS6! I have two machines, fileserver1 and server5. fileserver1 runs on CENTOS6 (virtualized, if this is important), server5 runs on Centos5. Both are running with the most recent updates. Server5 is a
