Hello list, I need to setup a samba file server with user access from a Windows AD domain and a separate Solaris NIS domain. All of our users have an account on the AD domain but only some of our users have a Unix account. I am trying to use kickstart for automated builds from a DVD. Some of the machines have DVD's drives and some have CDRom drives only. With the CDRom only machines I would like to plug in an external DVD drive via USB and use this to kickstart. The DVD only machines work correctly with a isolinux.cfg as label test kernel vmlinuz append initrd=initrd.img ramdisk_size=8192

What kind of implementation software or hardware is recommended for ide Raid 1 with ext3? Some controllers from Promise like their new FastTrak TX2000 look nice.
