Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi,
I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to
get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could
I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ?
Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run
Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ?
Regards,
Rob.

beronet & bristuff
Hi.
I'm trying to get a Beronet QuadBRI card work with bristuff drivers.
Though qozap module loads right, all card spans are in deactivated
status. I'm quite sure my configuration is correct and using a single
BRI card instead of the quadBRI the status is active and I can place and
receive calls.
On Beronet installation manual I read that Beronet and Junghanns cards
are identical in

Does Debian Bristuffed Asterisk work ignore Beronet cards ?
Hi,
we've purchased new Beronet Octobri card and have problems loading modules
for stock Asterisk for Debian Sarge (it has bristuff patches in it).
when loading qozap it says that no multibri card was found although lspci
shows it... There were quite some rumours about bristuff not liking other
than junghanns cards, but don't know if something happened....
Anyone recently used this

beronet BNS40 led blinking: not working or not connected?
Hi,
I've just installed a beronet BNS40 on Asterisk 1.2.9.1. Everything
seems ok, asterisk gives no error (nothing inside logs) but the 4 led on
the back of the card (which is NOT connected to an ISDN line) are red
and flashing....what does it mean? Is it not properly working or it
means the card is not connected to any ISDN line? The card handbook says
the card has red led but not their

Zaptel tone description
Lilantha, the tones are supposed to be switched using the loadzone and
defaultzone lines in /etc/zaptel.conf , and, progzone in
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf.
The information about countries and frequencies/times are at
zonedata.c located in the sourcecode of zaptel. As you may know,
changing zonedata.c information requires a re-compilation of the zaptel
module.
Hope it helps,

beronet and tdm400p cards conflict?
Hi,
I'm currently using a beronet quadBRI and a Digium tdm400P card on a
Poweredge SC420 DELL with mandriva 2005 LE (standard installation) but
this particular configuration gives me a problem: sometime the 2 cards
work well toghether, sometimes it is impossible to make/receive calls.
Is there anybody out there who is currently using this configuration
without problems?
TIA

beronet DTMF detection problem with some Telecom Italy lines
Ciao,
I have an Asterisk 1.2.9.1 box with a beronet dualBRI
(install-misdn-queue) on a Debian distro. I'm experiencing problem with
some Telecom Italia lines: some people cannot choose menu selections or
extensions after hearing intro message. Is there anybody who knows if
there is a particular parameter to set inside misdn.conf (or maybe some
other configuration files) ?
TIA

ASTCC speaks and cut RTP channel
Hi list.
I have a fine running Ser+Asterisk environment and have just installed
ASTCC. It?s working fine either, including its caller-id authentication
feature (the one we pass the card-number as CALLERID variable and
number-to-dial as EXTEN variable).
The issue, a great one, is that when the credit is about one minute to
end, the ASTCC prompt gets into the call, says that "you have one

beroNet BN4S0e PCI Express ISDN Card with chan_dahdi
Hi,
I'm currently trying to get a BN4S0e (which is basically a BN4S0 with a
PCIe connector) working with dahdi.
The module is loading properly but the card is not detected by the module.
Is support on dahdi planned for this card ?
In the meantime i'm gonna use mISDN with this card.
Thanks

BeroNet HFC-4S card is now detected as only 2 ports
Hello list,
After upgrading from BRIstuff 1y-b to 1y-e my ISDN card is suddently
detected as 2 ports instead of 4.
I still load the driver as "modprobe qozap ports=12" as I've always
done. But now it only sees 2 ports.
Output of "lspci -vvv"

s extension don't work on TDM40B
Hi all,
i have read in the * whitepaper the following:
"s: The "start" extension. A call which does not have digits associated with
it (for
example, a loopstart analog line) begins at the "s" extension."
I think this means the s extension will be execute when the phone is picked
up.
But when i pick up the phone the s extension will be never executed.

Astribank-8BRI
Hello,
I'm in the process of building an Asterisk machine and need 5 or 6
BRI-Channels. I was looking for the beroNet and Junghans cards and
stumbled upon the Xorcom Astribank xBRI products.
Has anybody tried out the Astribank xBRI-Channel Banks? Are they
production ready or should I go with a beroNet BN8S0 or JUNGHANNS.NET
octoBRI ISDN?
Thanks in advance,
Lars

misdn
Hi all,
I just arrived in Italy from Cebit, qhere I spoke with digium and Beronet
people.
They told me to try to use the mISDN stack to drive beronet and the new
upcoming digium ISDN Cards.
SO I searched, find
http://www.beronet.com/download/card_installation_guide.pdf, and I
immediately got the error:
asterisk01:~ # cd /usr/src/install-misdn/
asterisk01:/usr/src/install-misdn # make install
