Asterisk and Mitel SX 200 Slip and Frame Errors causing Major Ala rms
We have integrated an Asterisk (TE110P) and a Mitel SX200. We usually get over 500 frame errors and over a 500 slip errors per hour. When the errors reach 1000 per hour the Mitel will take it's T1 card offline. At that point no calls can be routed from the Asterisk server to the Mitel and the TE110P reports a Yellow alarm. What can be causing all these Frame and Slip errors? We have been

TE11OP -> Mitel 200Sx??
Hello all. I just received a TE110P and am trying to hook it to my Mitel 200SX has anyone successfully done this? My configuration is as follows. Asterisk -> TE110P ->Kentrox (csu/dsu) -> Mitel T1 Card. All I get is a blinking yellow on my TE110P card and an alarm on my Mitel. T1 card. Any advice would be great. Interconnect with Mitel PBX
I have a small government department that wants me to implement a Asterisk installation, however, they connect to the Government PBX, a Mitel SX200, and want to keep the ability to do that. I know there is no chance to connect the digital extension lines, but would it be possible to have the pbx admins send analogue extensions over and have those lines interface through an FXO interface? Or

Explain Yellow Alarm in a Legacy Integration
How would you categorize a Yellow Alarm sensed by the Asterisk side in a Legacy PBX integration? We have a Mitel SX200 connected to an Asterisk(1.2.4) with a TE110P. Twice today (first time in over a month) we received a Yellow Alarm on the TE110P. I have been able to clear it easily by restarting zaptel. Thanks in advance! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: whatcable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
The "telco guys" probably did something non-industry standard and reversed send and receive in the jack that they plugged the CAT5 into. Sure it works, sure it is easier, sure it is not the correct way of doing things. Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: whatcable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
I have used cross-connect wire from the spool to make T1 crossover cables with RJ45 ends. All that matters is that pin one goes to four and two goes to five on both ends. ________________________________ From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com on behalf of Andrew Sent: Sat 4/22/2006 2:51 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: Pinouts for T1/E1

I for one think it is a great idea to buy a book with hard earned money and wait a few days to a week just to get an answer to a question that is freely available on the internet immediately. Hard pressed to think of anything in the "book" that is not on with wiki with more up to date and useful information. -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Lopez

At Sangoma we do quite a lot of back-to back T1 and E1 connections. T1 is not a very fussy connection, as the baud rate is only about 750 kbps. In our experience, for error free communications you can use the following rules of thumb: Up to 50 ft: Flat patch cable Up to 500 ft: Ordinary twisted telephone cable Cat 5 may be overkill unless you are going hundreds of feet. HP/Compaq T700H UPS cable pinout
Hello all, I have obtained a Compaq T700 H UPS sans-cable. My research indicates it would've come with a HP #201092-001 cable, and from previous posts on this list, it speaks upscode2, possibly being a rebadged Eaton unit. Any suggestions for cable pinouts I can try? Regards, Mathew McBride

Just cross pairs 1-2 and 4-5 1 <--> 4 2 <--> 5 Never done an E1, but I think it's the same for a T1 4 wire cable. OT: pinout for "standard" telephone headset required.?
Hi, I have a Cisco 7960G phone for which I know the pinout of the headset socket. I have a couple of standard telephone headsets which I do not know the pinout of. I'd like to connect the two. If I have the pinout of a normal/standard headset I can rewire the ones I have to match the cisco. Thanks Mike

Loop back cable pinout 15 Pin Serial
I am trying to test the T1 card in our legacy PBX but the connector to the card is a 15 pin serial cable. I would like to make it myself so I can try this test today. Does anyone have a pinout for it? I just made a T1 RJ-45 loop back to test my TE110P and it tested out fine. I'm trying to resolve some timing issues and a tech from Digium is going to ssh in and walk around my asterisk server
