callback on busy
Hello everybody, I would like to implement "callback" function. When I call a person and his extension is busy I can press, for example, 5 and get a callback when his phone is not busy anymore. Weird problem in wctdm24xxp driver
Hi, I'm running FC3 with kernel 2.6.11. All the binary files and zaptel kernel modules is not available to system at boot time. They are extracted in a ram disk at system startup and then zaptel modules are loaded manually and so on. Strange Crash
hi, just got an strange crash, and don't know what could cause this type of crashs - hardware failure - memory - cpu ....? i have 1xTE405P installed with 4xTA750. using fresh kernel 2.6.9 (no patch). * version is latest CVS HEAD. thanks Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. app_rxfax vs (iaxmodem+hylafax)
can anybody help me to choose the most reliable fax solution for * . after googling the net i found that there are at least two solutions for this, app_rxfax+spandsp and iaxmodem+hylafax. - what's the differences between these two? - which one's better? why? thanks

Asterisk PBX in Debian
Hi everyone. I've installed Asterisk PBX using apt packages, but i don't have actually any Digium card, so i want to use ztdummy. I've tried to modify the Makefiles in the debian source package, i don't get any error, but still the ztdummy module doesn't get compiled. Does anybody has idea how to get the ztdummy module using the debian package system? Thanks for your help.

TDM02B card difficulties
Hi all, I just installed an TDM02B. My system is a dell pc with linux 2.6.12-1.1456_FC4 asterisk-1.2.0-beta1 zaptel-1.2.0-beta1 libpri-1.2.0-beta1 in /etc/zaptel.conf I have (all others are default): fxsks=3-4 <--- I saw light in the ports channels=1-2 <--- change it to 3-4 has same result but... monitor using incorrect path
Hello, I have been noticing the following behaviour with the monitor command.. Normally it records to the default location and then uses soxmix to create the correct wav file. But for some reason sometimes it doesn't use /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/.. but //var/spool/asterisk/monitor/.. (notice the 2 // in front!) Here is some logging: monitor executing ( nice -n 19 soxmix

Regular Crashes - Partially Solved
Thanks Paradise, this seems to have worked a treat!!! I commented out the: exten => 110,hint,SIP/110 lines which were in extensions_additional.conf for each sip extension I had. This seems to have stopped the crashes which were previously 3-5 times a day, now: System uptime: 1 day, 18 hours, 10 minutes, 3 seconds Interestingly it had the knock on effect of fixing another problem I had

Zaptel problems on Debian
I just installed a TE410P on a Debian Sarge system running kernel 2.6.11-1-686-smp. Zaptel and Asterisk seem to be working fine. However, I have a couple of problems with the TE410P and Zaptel. First, the TE410P is showing me red alarms on 2 of the 4 T1s. This board (the TE410P) was just moved from another machine running REL3 and all 4 T1s were working there. I don't know why only
