We are looking to replace our existing Legacy PBX with Asterisk. Our receptionist currently has a light display for a certain extension when someone is on a call. When she needs to transfer she simply hits that button. Is it possible to use a snom360 + Sidecar to monitor 30 extensions and make transfers using the buttons? Does the Cisco 7960 expansion module work with asterisk? Thanks.

Hi, as noone out there seems to be able to maintain chan_sccp, i'm trying to switch to chan_skinny. With the newest 1.4 svn the Softkeys are mostly wrong/non functional. I see Redial NewCall CFwdAll more (more) CFwdBu... GPickUp Confrn more NewCall works, CFwdAll seems to toggle DnD, the rest of the buttons do notting. Any ideas how to fix this? Regards, Andreas

Hi all, i would likte to do an "asterisk -rx show channels" regulary from cron and save the results. Easy it may seem, but when running the command from cron "sip*CLI> " is the only result.
