LED went off after loading wct4xxp
Hello, I have a Digium TE410P card. I get the "knight rider" lights before the module (wct4xxp) loads, but after the modules are loaded I don't get any lights. I have found the following 2 posts but still could not solve the problem http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-November/075277.html http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+TE410p+No+Interrupts

Setting Caller ID after Dial
Hello, I have the following situation: I have a PRI with 200 DID numbers and I have set up 200 sip extensions that matches the last 4 digit of the corresponding DID numbers so that when any of the 200 DID number is called, asterisk can pass the call to the respective sip extension. Incomming has been fine. But when making out going calls I want the called party to always see the same number

FC2 to FC3 Upgrade help
Hi All, Due to a hard-disc crash, I have just upgraded from a working Samba setup running in FC2 to a non-functional Samba setup running in FC3. The Windows XP machine has not changed, but won't connect. Samba is fully up2date from the FC3 repositories. smb.conf [global] workgroup = MYGROUP server string = Samba Server hosts deny = ALL hosts allow = 192.168.1.0/24 127.

partition table Cent4RC1
I just installed CentRC1 on a Dell gx150 as a test. I'm running into the same problem I had with Fc3. I get a partition table error when trying to use ghost8 to create an image. I was considering putting Cent4 on a ProliantDL380, FC3 installed on that machine but wouldn't boot up, stuck on Grub. I had FC2 on the Proliant but when FC2 went to the 2.6 kernel, it hung up on the Nash prompt.

Call Transfer
hi, Can anybody pls tell me, how to increase the time gap between 2 digits when you transfer a call. ie, the operator answers the call, and presses hash key to transfer, and then enters the extension number, some times, it timeouts too quickly before the operator enters the whole extension number (may be bcos the operator is slow). I tried the following, but it doesn't seems to be helping

I've trashed my install
I upgraded from FC2 to FC3 and it broke the sym links to a: and the cdrom. I couldn't get them back, then I deleted c: and z:, promptly asking myself "why did you just do that they worked fine" The funny thing is my /mnt is empty, I can pop a CD in and it finds it but what did FC3 do with the entries in /mnt? I looked for the setup tool that I read was in ./tool but can't find

ext3 partition compatibility
Recently, I had some experiences that raises the question as to how compatible (how safe) it is to mount and then read/write a partition using a system such as FC1 or debian where the partition was created under FC3. 1. I recently attempted to run e2fsck running on a FC1 system against a FC3 ext3 partition ... the program refused to run. When I took the e2fsprogs package from FC3 and

A smbd process pegging CPU at near 100% with v3.0.10-1 FC2 RPM
CPU 99.3%: 2170 root 25 0 11656 3228 10m R 99.3 0.5 0:07.42 smbd We're having the same problems as many others with print queues, client lock-ups, etc. I think maybe this CPU problem is related as we have two servers in two locations with the same versions, and both had the problem immediately after upgrading to 3.0.10. We use the YUM facility to upgrade Samba. To react to these

Soft phones that _actually_ work under Linux?
Surely there has to be one soft phone that works under Linux. I've tried: kphone - it sometimes complains about the need to release the sound device linphone - sssssssslllllllllooooooooowwwwwww iaxcomm - needs some strange widgets various others - either only supplied as binaries, or just plain don't work, or won't compile. Hello everyone! I've searched the archives and seen this problem crop up a couple of different times. None of the solutions I've found seemed to have worked. Here's the synopsis: I've recently installed FC4 and samba shares for home directories should work right out of the box. Default settings, etc... I get this error: sohmc@bart:~$ smbclient //127.0.0.1/sohmc added

SATA
Has anyone had any problems with SATA, either on board or 3rd party setup? I've currently got a problem where an AMD non SATA FC2 system is working fine but an Intel system with a 3Ware SATA card and FC3 is radomly not syncing with the ISDN30. It allows and receives calls but at random intervals drops them. Regards Lee -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG
