Addons
Hello Asterisk-Users,
I'm trying to install addons 1.2.6 on Asterisk 1.2.16 (is that OK?), but my MySQL server is installed on a different sever, so the MAKE of the addons fails with the following (truncated) error message: "app_addon_sql_mysql.c:23:19: mysql.h: No such file or directory".
Is there any way to bypass/ignore the fact that MySQL is installed separately and enable the

Which rule for Asterisk to Asterisk-addons compatibility ?
Hello,
In asterisk-addons-1.6.1.2's changelog, you can see that 6 changes were
committed between versions 1.6.1.1 and 1.6.1.2.
But if I'm not mistaken, you cannot read anything there about Asterisk to
Asterisk-addons compatibility.
What is the rule for Asterisk to Asterisk-addons compatibility ?
Is this rule implicit ("any Asterisk-addons 1.6.1.X is compatible with any

Anyone run a make on asterisk-addons /trunk r219 ?

License for asterisk-addons?
I've extracted the asterisk-addons-1.2.2.tar.gz file and don't see a
COPYING or LICENSE file, nor is there a mention of GPL or BSD in the
README file.
asterisk-sounds is BSD licensed, so it's not entirely clear how
asterisk-addons is licensed -- though I would guess GPL. Can anyone
clarify the licensing for asterisk-addons?
Thanks,

compilation problem with asterisk-addons
Hi,
Trying to compile asterisk-addons 1.2.5 on Centos 4.4 produces this:
Note: MySQL libraries are installed and the structure is as follows:
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-1.2.13
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5
in /usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5 I do:
make clean
make
and the output is:
./mkdep -fPIC -I../asterisk -D_GNU_SOURCE -I/usr/include/mysql `ls *.c`

Question: How to contribute to Asterisk-addons
Hi,
I am a beginner who began to use Asterisk in this July.
Last week,
I made two addons for PostgreSQL (cdr_addon_postgresql.c and
res_config_postgresql.c),
because I use not usual MySQL but PostgreSQL.
# Of course, not scratch build but modified version 1.4.8.
But I don't know how to change configure script, menuselect-xxx, ... etc,
and
how to merge my sources to addons tar-balls.
Anyone

Whither asterisk-addons?
I noticed that asterisk.org got a redesign, quite recently it seems,
which is very nice, but the addons package isn't listed for download
any longer, nor are releases posted to http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/
.
That said, looks like it's still available in svn, http://svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk-addons/tags/1.6.1.1/
.
So just wondering if addons will be around for

Hi guys,
I've been installing Asterisk 1.4 with Asterisk addons, and i could notice
that in /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/ doesn't have cdr_addon_mysql.so even
after compiling Asterisk Addons!
In fact the cdr_addon_mysql.c exists, but it doesn't seems to be compile
when i run Asterisk-Addons: make && make install
Any one can help me on this?
