Zfs deduplication
Will the material ever be posted. Looks there is some huge bugs with zfs deduplication that the organizers do not want to post it also there is no indication on sun website if there will be a deduplication feature. I think its best they concentrate on improving zfs performance and speed with compression enabled. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

RE: [Asterisk-Dev] Open source time card application for Asterisk
A little bird whispers to me: Don't expect this particular trick to be un-addressed by various legislatures forever. That window is closing, and the bottom of the window looks very much like a guillotine blade - don't have your head in the wrong place. In any case, as has been discussed on -users before (which is where this thread should go, and thus where I'm relegating it)

does sharing an SSD as slog and l2arc reduces its life span?
Hi, I don''t know if it''s already been discussed here, but while thinking about using the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro SSD (which according to spec page has supercaps built in) as a shared slog and L2ARC device it stroke me that this might not be a such a good idea. Because this SSD is MLC based, write cycles are an issue here, though I can''t find any number in their spec. Why do I

Asterisk Billing Plataforms
Hi, before you start throwing shoes to me, i know there are a lot of Asterisk Billing plataforms, but actually no one seems to accomplish what i need. They are to complex (a2billing) or doesn't have too much documentation (astbill and mcc) or are poorly developed (trabas). What i was looking for is a simple Asterisk billing plataform (with web based admin and customer interface) that only

shorewall-init missing critical file?
I am currently using Fedora 16 with the distribution provided shorewall-*-4.4.23.3-6.fc16 packages. shorewall-init seems to be missing a critical file. /lib/systemd/system/shorewall-init.service attempts to call /sbin/shorewall-init, but, /sbin/shorewall-init does not exist. I thought maybe it was a packaging error, so, downloaded the original source, (i.e., shorewall-init-4.4.23.3.tar.bz2), still

ISDN CAPI and anonymous callers
Hello, I am trying to use * to handle anonymous ISDN callers. Something like exten => 5150/0,1,Congestion should work but doesn't. Apparently because the ISDN CAPI doesn't use 0 for callers who don't send their number. Is there a way to make * identify ISDN callers who use CLIR? -Walter -- Walter Doerr =*= wd@infodn.rmi.de =*= FAX: +49 2421 962001

Features you'd like to see in a GUI?
Sherwood, Your intentions are noble and your desire to build this, fullfills an immediate need for business. If your intention is just to build a GUI for Asterisk, read no further. If your desire is to build something more purposeful, your best bet would be to see the existing commercial GUI/HostedPBX offerings like Pbxware and Switchware from bicomsystems.com ( http://www.bicomsystems.com)
