Hi, I've been trying to dial out to a cellphone, but all my calls get redirected to 066 (the emergency number at my city, like 911) does anyone know how to fix this, any ideas,? does anyone from mexico has done this? Does anyone know of any Cellular providers that will allow VOIP connections to thier cellular phones? I'd love to be able to call a cell phone without using the PSTN. I would think it would make sense for the provider, they still get to charge normal minutes, but don't have to burn a connection to the PSTN.

We use Motorola v551's as "extensions" on our Asterisk system with a homebrew find me/follow me dialplan. It works great except where coverage is poor then of course the inbound call hits voicemail. This has nothing to do with Asterisk and everything to do with our cellular provider, but since you guys are telephony pros I'd like to ask if anyone has had any good or bad

I have some users who like to forward their extensions out to cellular phones on weekends. They can currently do this using *72<cell #> which AMP provides. However, in the event that this forward is enabled and a call is forwared to their cell phone but they do not answer it, it will be passed back to Asterisk voicemail. I think the store-and-forward part could easy be done in the dialplan, but i can't even get the handset to register with asterisk (authentication failed).
