Asterisk 1.0.5-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC5 caller id?
I tried to get callerid working the normal way but the cid is never passed to the phone. It doesn't work untill I set SetCIDNum(0${PRI_NETWORK_CID}) in extensions.conf which I found in the wiki: http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-print.php?page=Asterisk+zaphfc Is this intended behaviour, or still a bug? It does work but it only shows one zero even though I have nationalprefix = 0

Zapateller issues
Hi All, In theory if I do this; exten => s,1,Zapateller(nocallerid) exten => s,2,Privacymanager exten => s,3,Dial(a bunch of SIP extensions) My callers should only hear the anti-telemarketing tones if they call from a line that has no caller*ID and then get offered an opportunity to enter it, right? What I'm finding is that in the event of no CID the caller gets dumped into the

RE: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3408 - 12 msgs
I am looking to install a web interface for Asterisk to transfer calls and look who's on the phone. If anybody has a working web interface please let me know. I installed the www.asternic.com (operator) But when I bring up my web browser it says transferring data and does not bring a browser. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com

PrivacyManager Broken?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I am running into some problems here with PrivacyManager. We used to use it without any issue, but now there seems to be several problems. We are currently running Asterisk 1.2.4. First, it seems that if the user does not press the pound (#) key after entering their number, PrivacyManager will fail. I have the minlength set to 10, and

PrivacyManager & FastAGI: Rewrite or use?
I'm building an app that will do the following: 1. Force the caller to record their name. 2. Dial the party to call. 3. Play a short menu: 1 = Accept Call 2 = Decline Call, go to VM if available 3 = Accept Call forever, never ask again 4 = Decline Call forever, block number, get rid of caller 4. do things based on that choice. I'm

PrivacyManager no longer working properly
Hi all, Previously, I had the PrivacyManager working for me exactly as would be expected, but after upgrading the OS to Debian lenny and Asterisk to v1.4.21.2 that's no longer the case. Anonymous callers are still confronted with the PrivacyManager, but now no matter what I set the minlength value to, e.g.: exten => jaap,n,PrivacyManager(1,1) ... (I'm not using a

PrivacyManager not Working
I have been having problems getting PrivacyManager to work correctly. Right now I am running the 1/21/05 CVS but I have been unable to get this to work on asterisk-stable either. You can see from the debug below that the inbound call is arriving via IAX2 and both the CALLING NUMBER and CALLING NAME are both set as "Unavailable". However, PrivacyManager executes and determines that

Asterisk 1.6 and PrivacyManager with SIP
Hi all, My latest Asterisk system is based on Debian squeeze with Asterisk 1.6.2.6-1 and SIP only. One of my favorite features that I had working with Asterisk 1.4 is the PrivacyManager. However, this was not straightforward, because anonymous SIP calls arrive with ${CALLERID(num)} = "anonymous", instead of being blank. So, to get it to work I added the first three rules to

Supervision Issue With Asterisk/Sipura/Talkn
I am trying out a new service from www.talkn.com. They use Sipura to terminate your service like most providers. They are looking at directly connecting into asterisk in the future. Right now my configuration is Talkn?Sipura?Asterisk/FXO Card. When someone calls in and get?s answered and when either party hangs up , * releases the port with out a problem. If someone calls in and * answers the

Asterisk core dumps when using PrivacyManager

Fax trouble with HP 3330mfp (again)
I'm using Asterisk 1.09 with bristuff 0.2.0-RC8n, one BRI line and a Sipura SPA-2000. I have a HP LaserJet 3330mfp all-in-one. I can receive faxes but not send them. The faxes start whistling to each other but the transmission is stopped with a "communication error" To receive a fax I have this in my dialplan: exten => 0000000000,1,Ringing exten => 0000000000,2,zapEC(off)

Making PrivacyManager smarter?
I'm having a problem with Asterisk picking up the Zap/1 and thinking its a new call when instead I've already been on the phone talking to a person. This is not my ideal setup and currently I have just an FXO card and Asterisk is in parallel with my phone system instead of being in the front. I'm not sure if the problem would be fixed by adding an FXS card and putting my phones on

Zapateller Answering?
Been tinkering and found Zapateller appears to be answering when I didn't expect it to. I have something like so: [incoming] exten => s,1,NoOp ;Zapateller(answer|nocallerid) exten => s,2,PrivacyManager exten => s,3,Dial(${RING},20) ... I have a 1x1 analog * installation with a couple IP phones too. I've got the FXO interface connected to the home phone line. When I get an

Dial plan inquiry using GotoIf()
Hi all, I'm looking for some rudimentary insight on GotoIf() which seems to be failing on me in my dial plan. All I basically wish to do is block a particular caller. Sounds easy enough, but my ternary operator/plan currently is not properly being implemented. Can anyone spot where I'm being a momo? All extensions get forwarded to the following macro: [macro-forward] ; arg1 = phone

Using Blacklist
I am attempting to write in incoming context for calls. 1. If the caller id is given and it is not black listed it will Playback a greeting and then right the phone or go to voicemail under busy or unavailable conditions 2. If no caller id is given, then Privacy Manager will ask for the number. I am testing 6145551212 to see if the black list will work 3. If a caller id is given, and it is

faxdetect config issues
My Asterisk fax detection used to work, but no longer does. OK. So, here's the deal: 1. It appears that the "faxdetect" command cannot be applied channel-by-channel in zapata.conf anymore, as Asterisk appears to the last "faxdetect=" command to ALL channels. 2. My stations are detected and sent to the proper extension; i.e., when I send a fax from one zap extension

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list! On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n. Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc driver. First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok. Now for

GotoIf Dialplan inquiry
Hi all, I have the following in my extensions.conf: exten => s,4,GotoIf($["${CALLERID(number)}" = "8585979857" | "8585970327"]?15:5) The numbers listed above are known spammer numbers. However, when I call from any other CALLERID, it still directs me to s,15 which is the Hangup() application. Here are logs from the asterisk CLI: -- Executing

after hours logic
Hi. I'm new to Asterisk and have been working on setting up a development server but have gotten myself a bit confused. I'd like to implement the following logic for calls coming from the PSTN: Check for caller-id yes => keep going no => play SIT and prompt for telephone number Check time of day to see if it's day / night day => ring some phones
