chan_sip2 Install Question
It looks like chan_sip2 may solve my problem with outboundproxy support. However, I am having problems getting the solution installed. From what I understand these are the tasks... Add chan_sip2 to the channels/Makefile * Rename the file downloaded to chan_sip2.c * make / make install * Change your modules.conf Add "noload=chan_sip.so" if you want to run chan_sip2 * Restart

chan_sip2 install instructions.
Hi, Does anyone have any detailed install instructions for setting up chan_sip2.. I patched acl.c but could not see an acl.h file to apply the patch.. I copied the chan_sip2.c file into the channels directory.. I am not sure what I need to do exaclty in the Makefile to get chan_sip2 to build.. Any help and anything to be careful of in chan_sip2 would be usefull.. Thanks, Later..

chan_sip2 broken with FWD
Hi all, I try since few days to register to FWD with chan_sip2 and always been disconected: peer TOO LAGGED and then peer is now REACHABLE! and so on. Now I restart asterisk with chan_sip and get it work. So for me it's chan_sip2 which is broken,*only with FWD* (at least for me) as I have others SIP providers and it's working fine with them. I use a CVS version of asterisk from

Hi, I've been doing a lot of CA modeling lately and am now wanting to make some checkerboard plots in R. Let's say I have a matrix: > is.matrix(junk) [1] TRUE > junk [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4] [,5] [1,] 0 0 1 0 0 [2,] 0 1 1 1 0 [3,] 0 1 0 0 1 [4,] 0 1 1 1 1 [5,] 0 1 0 0 0 > and I want to make a

a2blling billing system
Hello, I am trying to setup a2billing system for asterisk. I have installed it corectly, but I have not found any users manual. I do not understand the whole structure. How do the parts like calling cards and sip friends cooperate together? I simply need to know how to make a call through it. With all the features like CDR's, etc. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance.

SIP Intercom & Paging (was Overhead Paging)
I wasn't thinking of using the conference system as the basis. I was thinking more along the lines of: 1) Setup a second extension on the Cisco phone named "INTERCOM" enabled for auto-answer 2) Create a call group on asterisk to dial that "INTERCOM" extension on every phone that will participate 3) Add a feature code that would dial the intercom extension and connect

samba backup domain controller
Hey all I need some help with samba in a samba enviroment as a backup domain controller. There seems to be a lack of good documentation. I would prefer a pure samba envioment using the samba password file and rsync, this is the most basic setup but there is no documentation. If not possible I would use ldap as the backend, but once again there is limited documentation. Any help wuld be

best rsync for use with windows (client) and long file names
Good day, I have been doing some tests with rsync on windows (client) to backup to a linux server. I started out with cwrsync, but ran into the dreaded "File name too long (91)" error. Apparently due to an issue with the cygwin portion of it. So I was then testing with a newer version of cygwin (1.7 beta) as the long file name issue was resolved. In testing that with some

Problem with visual C++ and samba
We are having a problem with Microsoft visual C++ compiling source code maintained on a samba server. Occasionaly the compiler reports that it cant open the file vc50.pch. The samba server is running on a freebsd box. Taking a look at the log files it looks like when the operation fails the server is processing the command open (vc50.pch for exclusive use write setattrE write open (vc50.pch
