Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 2, Issue 163
Hi Matt, I have verified with ztmonitor the audio level and it was too low, then with this the fax machine report "Not Response". I modified the audio level in zapata.conf and after that the fax machine report "Commnunication Error". Do you an idea what could be ? Thanks, Angel. > Message: 3 > Date: Sat, 18 Sep 2004 00:48:23 +1200 > From:

On Hold music
This may sound kind of crazy and I maybe missing something. But are you placing the call on hold so you can hear the hold music. This may not be the case but you may have to place the call on hold to here the music. Also you mentioned sound, you do not need a sound card in the asterisk box to use this hold music feature. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From:

AstWinPeers - combination of IAX/SIP/Peers/Graph
Hi, As you may have noticed, I've been playing around with a couple of ways of displaying peer statistics in Windows. There were previously 4 programs to do that. I have now combined them into 1 uberprogram (392Kb uncompressed). You can download the beta from: http://www.sineapps.com/down/AstWinPeers.zip or you can view a screenshot at: http://www.sineapps.com/images/AstWinPeersBig.jpg

New Beta IAX Statistics Program
Hot off the wire: http://www.sineapps.com/news.php?rssid=927 Hi, we have put together a small application for Windows to allow you to check IAX network statistics. Basically all you need is the .Net framework and the user/pass/host/extension/context details. There is one parameter available when you start. This is dial string. It is made up as follows: user:pass@host/extension@context You

IAXPeerGraph - a beta of another windows monitor app
We've just completed another Windows monitor app. This one has a scrolling taskman-like interface. Once again the zip file just contains the .exe file and the INSTALL.txt file. Oh, and by the way, the blue light that flashes next to the green connect light (it is black in the picture) toggles between blue and black whenever it receives a response from the simple manager proxy with IAX

While the VoIP-Info.org site is down...
Is it wise to use an outage to promote your business, not on the user's list and not multiple times? Put it in your signature or something ;-) Thanks, Steve Totaro http://www.asteriskhelpdesk.com KB3OPB > -----Original Message----- > From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users- > bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Shane Breen > Sent: Wednesday,

HOW TO make xten eyebeam incoming video start before you send yours
Sorry, I don't remember who was asking about this, but it seems that if you record a video message that contains the send video start, it will actually fire up the remote receive window. I.E. Previously I was using the recording section of voicemail to create my video IVR's. This meant that when I arrived at the section to record the message, I had already clicked send video in Xten.

RSS Feed Added to Asterisk News Site
I've put up an RSS feed on my site so that you can browse the headlines etc without actually visiting the site. If you use FireFox, Sage is a nice RSS reader. The URL is: http://www.sineapps.com/rssfeed.php _This is not a webpage._ It is a feed of the headlines and descriptions for Asterisk news for RSS compatible clients. Have a quick search on Google if you don't already have

Firefly prescence + Asterisk
Does anyone know if there's a way to get the FireFly presence stuff to work with Asterisk? Details: 1. I would like to be able to see other people's status in my firefly client. This one I think may be able to be done without asterisk. I.E. maybe the clients need to be registered against the firefly network and just not send calls through? 2. I would like (if possible) to use the

help: advice on the structuring of ReML models for analysing growth curves
Hi R experts, I am interested on the effects of two dietry compunds on the growth of chicks. Rather than extracting linear growth functions for each chick and using these in an analysis I thought using ReML might provide a neater and better way of doing this. (I have read the pdf vignette("MlmSoftRev") and "Fitting linear mixed models in R" by Douglas Bates but I am not

Re : using predict() or fitted() from a model with offset; unsolved, included reproducible code
Thanks for your reply Mark, but no, using predict on the new data.frame does not help here. ? I had first thought that the probelm was due?the?explanatory variable (age)?and?the offset one (date) being?very similar (highly?correlated, I am trying to tease their effect apart, and hoped offset would help in this since I know the relationship with age already). But this appears not to be the case.

ReShape chicks example - line plots
Hi, In the examples from the ReShape package there is a simple example of using melt followed by cast that produces a smallish amount of output about the chicks database. Here's the code: library(reshape) names(ChickWeight) <- tolower(names(ChickWeight)) chick_m <- melt(ChickWeight, id=2:4, na.rm=TRUE) DietResults <- cast(chick_m, diet + chick ~ time) DietResults My challenge
