X100P with Caller-ID in Australia, anyone?
Hello list, I have an X100P clone card, and I've been trying to get it to receive Telstra Caller-ID without any luck. Hence these two questions:- 1) Will a genuine X100P work? 2) If so, where can I get one in Australia? Cheers, Jon

X100P in Australia
G'Day, I need from regarding using the X100P. Some are specific to Australia and I have been told in IRC there are already existing users in oz, so I would appreciate your input. 1) Is the X100P Australia telco approved? 2) I have setup asterisk with X100P and whenever I dial in I cannot get any callerid information. Is this standard behaviour? If not how have other australian users managed

X100P and BT Caller ID
Hello I was wondering whether anyone has managed to get an X100P card to receive Caller ID information in the UK (connected to a BT line)? I guess that it probably won't work at present because BT sends the CID information before the first ring - hence there is no event to wake up the channel. I can hear it using ztmonitor, but it is far too soon for anything to receive it. According to the

X100P card in Australia
I'm trying to get the X100P card working in AU. So far I have managed to get it to handle incoming calls from the PSTN and have managed to eliminate pretty much most of the echo. My big problem is getting the outbound calls to work. When I get ZAP to dial out it won't connect and I get what I think is the Congestion signal - like a busy signal but with what appears to be a 10db

giving up on x100p in Australia
OK, I've spent way more time than I wanted to on getting an x100p clone to work in Australia. I'm happy to consider other (more functional) options. Does anyone have an opinion on both the Sipura 3000 and other Digium cards (like the TDM400P)? I need something that works with no much fuzz. I know the Sipura 3000 is cheaper the the TDM400P card. All I need is to channel my POTS line

X100P Configs for Australia
Hi, Just wondering if anyone else in Australia is using the X100P to connect to the PSTN, and what configs they have for it? I'm finding at present when I make a call I get a fair bit of echo of myself speaking, and also the person on the other end can't hear me very well (perhaps need to up the digial Tx Gain? I don't have it configured at present) Asterisk is running on

tuning an x100p in Australia for echo cancellation
I have an x100p which suffers from echo (no surprise there apparantly :), and a few of the things I've read about tuning out echo say the first thing to get right is the tx and rx gain, and for that you need a few different types of test lines from the telco (Telstra, Optus, whatever). Does anyone have any numbers in Australia for such lines? I think they just need to send out a tone of a

Does Wildcard x100p support BT Caller ID in UK?
Hi all, I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere on the web, except that BT caller ID doesnt use the standard bellcore system in use in the US. So, if anyone here in the UK is onlist and using the x100p successfully, please let me know. TIA, Dave

Serial port DTMF Caller-ID reciever /w scripts for X100P/X101P/Clones....
Since the X100P/X101P/Clone cards does not work in all countries that use DTMF based Caller-ID systems, I've developed a hardware that you connect to a serial port and the PSTN. You then run a perl script "cid_logger.pl" as a daemon, and modify extensions.conf to call an agi script whenever a call comes in, and if it's on the X100 card it will get the caller id information

X100P and TDM400P non-USA Caller ID
I am sure that quite a lot of people would like to have Caller ID working with their X100P and TDM400P cards outside of USA. Judging from previous threads this is just a matter of implementing this support in the software driver! So, I was thinking, if we get together and put few $(USA DOLLARS) into a basket, we could then ask Digium to actually properly implement Caller ID for non USA

Hi, I would like to use a Fortran subroutine in R. I have checked the R docs and Newsletter, but..., I am unable to load an object file into R. X100P/Caller ID: clidtest works, * complains [repost]
Hi, I'm running Asterisk 1.0.8 on Gentoo, with an X100P (clone) card, and I'm having problems with Caller ID. I have run clidtest, and it seems happy enough, returning:- server clidtest # ./clidtest /dev/zap/1 Number: 0412222222, Name: MOBILE (that number's fake.) However, I'm not getting the caller ID passed through with *. Sometimes I get a "failed checksum" like

X100P callerid ETSI - caller*ID failed checksum
Dear All, I am a newbie about asterisk. I have 1x X100P card 3x Sip phone I got aware of problem, after I saw the caller id on my sip phone. I noticed that if I receive a call from GSM Operator A, I can see caller id. But any other operator, I got no caller id, even my direct PSTN service operator. So at that moment I was using *1.0.9. than I changed to asterisk@home 1.3(1.0.9). I got same

DTMF Caller ID w/o polarity inversion
Hi Folks, I've been looking around and found some references of some Caller ID patches (Mantis bug#9) for X100P and TDM400 for Netherlands, Sweden and UK. It's been quite hard to understand what has finally been incorporated to the distribution (if anything) or which patches must be applied in witch snapshot of the repository. I've tried some different approaches but nothing worked

CID not appearing via X100P
Hi Folks, Prior to upgrading my Zaptel sources everything was working fine. I have a X100P connected to my analogue line. The handset port of the X100P is connected to my desk phone's line 2 input. When the analogue line rings I see the CID on my line 2 but not from Asterisk on line 1 via the Cicso ATA. This used to work fine until I upgraded the sources. I get this when watching the

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
Hi All, This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought it might be good for the archives. Basically what was happening was everytime a particular customer called (long distance), the line would disconnect immediately after answering. I thought it might have been the phone, so I swapped the phone with another - still
