FastAGI Connection Failure and Hangup
Does anyone know how to make fastagi continue to the next priority if it can not connect to the remote AGI Server? Right now I am just getting Hangup and cant find anything on the net about this.

Native MoH patch for 1.0.8?
Hi all,
I was reading http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=2639 and it seems that
anthm's great native MoH patch only works on HEAD. Does anyone have a
version of the native MoH patch that works on 1.0.8? If so please point
me to its location or email it off-list.
Thanks and regards,
Patrick

Can't get format_mp3 to work for music on hold
Hi Guys,
I am having trouble trying to get format_mp3 working to play music on hold.
I have followed the instructions in the read-me and the wiki however
it seems after un-installing mpg123, asterisk is not even attempting
to play MOH.
My musiconhold.conf is
; Music on hold class definitions
;
[classes]
[moh_files]
default = >/var/lib/asterisk/moh-native

ChanSpy by anthm and more...
Everyone we have a few new things to give back to the asterisk community.

These include app_chanspy, the ability to spy on ANY bridged call taking
place inside asterisk. NOT just ZAP as with ZapScan/Barge.

Music On Hold
Hello everyone,
I am having a bit of problem getting MusicOnhold to play.
I am running Asterisk 1.4 with MPG123 0.59 installed.
And here's what i see in the debugging window of asterisk:
-- Started music on hold, class 'default', on channel
'SIP/x123-082043d0'
-- Stopped music on hold on SIP/x123-082043d0
Any idea why it is not playing the file at all?
thanks

OrderlyQ installations?
What experience can be shared about installing and running the OrderlyQ
application?
I have a bunch of queues set up and want to start adding some additional
apps and this one looked promising but I have very little java experience
and it doesn't seem to be running properly.

No music on hold?
Hi all,
I've got Asterisk 1.2.10 up and running on Debian using the back ports.
I noticed that it didn't come with mpg123 or depend on it and I believe
I read somewhere that asterisk now handles it's own mp3 playback? Is
this true? If so I must have a problem, because I hear no music when
putting someone on hold. When looking at the console when putting
someone on hold, I see

I've just come across your post to the Asterisk-Users group

Music on Hold
Hello
Yesterday, i brought linksys PAP2 and have success with that. The only thing that does not go well is the music on hold. When i press 'hold' button from the telephone set instead of playing the music on hold that i have setup in Asterisk, Telephone Set plays its own MOH. Is there any way to tackle this issue.

dbox - how to awaken the monster
Hello people,
Since the invention of this storage called dbox, I have never quite gotten
round to understanding it, nor getting to use it. It seems so strange to me
and I must ask a few stupid questions about it.
I use the MTA to deliver mail to Maildir, either in ~/Maildir or
/some/path/%d/%n/Maildir. It has always beat me how dbox comes into play
under such circumstances. From the wiki, I see

Music on hold and conferencing on OS X
We're setting up asterisk at the office (really doing some testing
right now) and it is going to be hosted on a dual G5 XServe running
OS X. We're an apple certified solutions provider, etc. so we want to
build all our stuff on apple hardware and software. Anyway, the last
sticking point is moh and meetme. Is there any solution to get moh
and meetme working on OS X? Meetme

Every half year or so, I probably will repost this list, adding and
subtracting as the community makes advances (or ignores what isn't
required.)

efficient way to make NAs of empty cells in a factor (or character)
Dear all,
I have some csv-files (originating from Excel-files) containing empty
cells. In my example file I have four variables of different classes,
each with some empty cells in the original csv-file:

> test
id id2 x y
1 a 1 NA
2 b e NA 2.2
3 f 3 3.3

Music on hold volume too high - using built in music on hold.
Hi,
I saw this problem mentioned before but the user appeared to be using
the MP3 software with asterisk. I am using the native music on hold
player in asterisk 1.2 and I too have a volume problem with music on
hold. Is this controllable through the 'indications.conf'? I know this
file controls frequency range for various sounds might it also control
sound level or am I barking up

Question: vxvm/dmp or zfs/mpxio
Hello experts,
My client is thinking about changing one of their servers running Solaris 8 (NIS Hub to mention something) to a server running Solaris 10.
The question that i have given is to check the differences or if you wish the status/stability of changing VXvm with DMP (Dynamic Multi Pathing) to a system with ZFS and MPXio. I have made my share of RTFM but not come any closer to an answer.

big troubel - damaged mailboxfolders
Hi,
because the fedora project switcht from wu imap to dovecot, i followed
this step. Today I'm very unhappy about this step, because there are
more problems for me than advantages...
But today the biggest problem is, that a lot!!! of mailboxes are
damaged. within three year no mailbox was damaged using wu imap.
The errormessage is:
imap(cstrang): File isn't in mbox format:
