Annoying Sipura problem?
This may not be the right place to ask, but I have an annoying issue with
a Sipura/SPA1000-2.0.10(e) ATA device connected to an Asterisk box. (The
system is remote to me, so I've only been able to observe this by dialling
into a VoIP phone on-site, then run commands on the box remotely!)
First of all it's all working fine connected to an Asterisk box and the
user can make/take calls

ISPCON Mini-emergency: ATA186 Power Cube OK on SPA841?
Guess who's here to do an Asterisk demo this week without the power
supply for his SPA-841.
I have an ATA186 with me. Both phones use a 5v supply. Does anyone
know whether the supplies are interchangeable?
Thanks in advance; sorry for the noise.

PXE in wonderland
Hi,
I have collected a bunch of old PII PCs that I am trying to PXE boot.
There NICs are old and so I use etherboot floppy to emulate a native PXE
boot. I have configured tftp, dhcpd, pxelinux, and all the other stuff.
Everything works fine till pxelinux start booting. Then it stucks after
printing the IP row.

"Username/auth name mismatch" + SIP phone can't connect?
Hello
I'm trying to set up Asterisk on an older AMD Duron 700MHz with Fedora 5
for use with SIP phones and the Linksys 3102 SIP gateway (ie. no FXO card,
so no need for zaptel and libpri), but I'm stuck: The GrandStream BudgeTone
phone fails registering with Asterisk :-/
Following the "Asterisk - The Future of Telephony.pdf", here's what I did:
1. Installed Fedora 5,

NFS insanity
Hi all,
I've got some insanity with mounting an NFS share that before reloading
my workstation afresh worked perfectly, but now refuses to mount.
Actually there are two servers with shares mounted.
(1) Mandrake 10.0 file server - two shares - mount perfectly
(2) Fedora Core 3 - one share - can't mount to save my life!
My workstation is CentOS 4. I reloaded it to get rid of the FC3

Newbie X100P question
Hello,
I just bought a X100P from digitnetworks.
It is supposed to be a FXO card, but there are 2 rj-11 plug on the card.
One is labelled "phone" and the other "pstn". When i plug the "pstn" on
the wall and the "phone" on my analog phone, everything (incoming and
outgoing calls) works like before (without asterisk).
AFAIU, i should have an FXS card in my

samba4 PDC, smbstatus provides no info
Hi! I have successfully managed to migrate my samba 3 NT domain from gentoo
to a fully operational samba 4 AD on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with roaming
profiles, MMC management and what not. Over 50 users log into that daily.
I've got a number of problems, but let's tackle them one by one.
When I try to use smbstatus to check who is using the server and what files
are being open, I'm getting:

iphone connection problem
Hi, I recently changed from uw imap to dovecot on the sound recommendation of a friend and have mostly succeeded in getting all of my clients up and running, but am really stuck with the iPhone which is failing to make connections. I run certificates on all of my clients and thunderbird happily connects both locally and remotely. I installed the certificate on the iPhone after great pain (pk12

4.3.11-Ubuntu fail to add DC to a AD domain
Rowland, thank you for answering!
I have investigated this a bit, and I think that using 18.04 for the new DC
will not be successful anyway. Reasons: the AD I have has been created back
in the days when 14.04 LTS was fresh. The provisioning scripts worked
differently. 14.04 has been upgraded to 16.04, and I think that I do not
have all of the DNSes configured properly and this might be the cause

yes, I tried working with samba wiki and quad-verifying what is recommended

NT4 Domain Member Server Access Denied v3.07
I want to set up a Samba Server (Cactus_3) as member server in our NT4
domain (PDC is Cactus_1, BDC is Cactus_2). We have about 50 client
workstations most of which are WinXP but we have a few Win2K and Win98
machines. Shortly we will migrate off the NT4 servers but in the
meantime we wish to test some real time scenarios. It is for this
reason that I want SSO so the tests are transparant

[RFC] [DebugInfo] Using DW_OP_entry_value within LLVM IR
Hi David,
Thanks for your comments!
I just want to add that I think it would neat if the entry values could map into
multi-location dbg.values and DBG_VALUEs that are being proposed on this list.
For example, if we have:
int local = param1 + param2 + 123;
I think it would be good if we would be able to to represent the four different
permutations of the values of the parameters being

Private Address Routing via Tunnels
Hi,
I''m trying to do some horrible private address routing between networks.
Is there a way to handle the following? I''m guessing policy routing
*might* be the way, but anyway...
Two networks, accessible via public addresses -- a /29 on each. Each
network, however, has more machines than this, so one also has
192.168.0.0/24 and the other has 192.168.1.0/24.
I have an IPIP
