PRI: Call Reference Length not supported
I'm not a PRI expert and therefore don't know what this debug stuff means
for PRI, so if anyone can help me here...
I'm running the latest libpri and zaptel from CVS.
Keep in mind that everything works fine when using the STABLE libpri and
zaptel.
I am NOT running CVS asterisk. I am running 1.0.6.

Any ideas on this warning? If I call this number, sometimes I get this error
and sometimes the call goes thru fine. Why would it work sometimes?

Agents/Queues - Drops call after 60 seconds
This just started happening today. I've got 1 queue and 6 agents. All logged
in. I tell the service people to ignore my call if they see my caller id.
I call the queue and watch as asterisk bounces me around the phones. Our
agent ring time is 5 second timeout and a 5 second wait time before trying
next agent.
I get the same message in console for each agent attempt:

Any interest in commercial add-on libraries based on Cyte l's StatXact/LogXact?
Another example: Jerry Friedman's MART is available in R from Salford for
the same price as the stand-alone TreeNet, even though they don't advertise
it on their web site.

Transfer_CONTEXT behaviour
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a way of doing the following in Asterisk 1.6.2 - I
do not think it can be done trivially using TRANSFER_CONTEXT.
What I want is for the TRANSFER_CONTEXT for all technologies to be the
same as the initial context defined in the configuration of the device
initiating the transfer. This is not as simple as it seems (unless I
am missing something). For example:

Any interest in commercial add-on libraries based on Cytel's StatXact/LogXact?
At JSM, I spent a bit of time with old friends at the Cytel booth
(makers of StatXact/LogXact). They were wondering whether it was both
feasible and of interest to create a package of the StatXact compute
engine for R (to be commercially licensed, not for free!), similar to
what they've done for SAS.
As far as I know, it's feasible,

IAX/SIP Inter Asterisk Transfer
Hi,
I've thoroughly searched the mailing list for a concrete example but
haven't found one, thats why I end up here with my question.
Theres has been some talk about IAX Transfers, but quite theoretically.
Lets say there is a setup of several asterisk-boxes connected in a local
Ethernet.
Asterisk A establishes actively a connection to a SIP client B. When B
picks up, the connection

TRANSFER_CONTEXT ignored?
Hi,
I am in a weird situation where a variable seemed ignored, but not always.
That variable is __TRANSFER_CONTEXT.
Basically, I have a phone registered with asterisk. It's context is
"internal". Outgoing calls go through that context (all good).
When I get an incoming call which I want transferred, I don't want it to go
through the context "internal" but

Blind transfer behavior - Asterisk 1.8 and 10
Hi,
I want to check the status of a blind transfer (only sip endpoint)
between various phones. Transfer is working perfectly, using ## from
features.conf or using transfer key from phone, here SNOM320.
My problem is that if party to transfer to is busy, the transfer fail
and the call is ended. What I want to do is to return the call to the
party who originate the transfer.
I checked

limitations ?
hi,
im looking at deploying asterisk in a small corporate enviroment which will
have approx. 1200 IP Phones and an average of about 100 to 200 calls at any
given time. The calls will be sent out SIP to my Cisco Gateway. Im
running Asterisk on a Dell Dual P3 1.2ghz running Fedora. Is there a
calculator or a spreadsheet which could tell me about how many calls I will
be able to make through *

Is there an R implementation for the "Barnard's exact test" (a substitute for fisher.test) ?
Hello R help members. I came across today with an article on Barnard's exact
test (http://www.cytel.com/Papers/twobinomials.pdf), that is supposed to
give a more powerful fisher.test - Because it doesn't assume that we know
the row and column totals are in advance. Any pointers to such a function ?
Thanks, Tal

Redirecting an existing channel?
Hi all,
There's been a few posts looking for telemarketer torture scripts so I
figured that I would write one using a SQLite db. Handling an incoming
call that is flagged from the database is pretty simple.
My problem is that I would like the callee on an established channel to
be able to redirect the caller to a specific context where my AGI is
called and handles the call by first

exact confidence intervals for conditional logistic regression
Dear R folks,
We completed a matched case-control study that was analyzed using
conditional logistic regression. Because of the small sample size we need
to calculate exact confidence intervals. The quick solution is to purchase
LogExact by Cytel. However, we'd like to do this in R. Anyone have
experience with this?
Many thanks,
Tomas

Thanks Guus
I have one more question.
- We see several log messages that we dont currently understand - Can you
comment on what they mean and if they are concerning? I've obfuscated IP's
and node names so please ignore those. Our tinc daemon command is: tincd -n

IAX2 attempts native bridge when notransfer=yes
This comment comes up fairly regularly and is confusing people.
Why doesn't it say that it failed so we know?
The way it is now it kind of leaves you hanging there and you don't know
if the transfer happened or not.
And why was it even attempted if it is obvious that transfer is off?
(I know it can depend on the remote side.)

Help documentation of "The Studentized range Distribution"
Well, it is clear enough that the problem is in interpreting the documentation. However, when you claim you tested something, and found it inconsistent with tables, it would be advisable to back it up with examples!
The description in the help files and in the sources is admittedly confusing. The original paper has this, rather more clear, description in the abstract:
"We consider the

Blind transfer issue on Asterisk 1.8.4.2
Hi all,
when doing a blind transfer using the keys defined in features.conf, we
hear a confirmation of the attempt to blindly transfer, followed by an
invalid extension message.
The console says this:

on hold, class 'default', on SIP/570-00000006
