Conversation interrupted by fax
Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7353M (will be moving to 1.2.2 this weekend) E1 connected to Sangoma A102 SIP phones (Cisco 7960) I've been making a call from my mobile to the office, when, suddenly the conversation is terminated and replaced by a "fax-type" sound. This has happened to me several times over the past year, so it's not the version of asterisk (we've had cvs trunk and

Problems with outbound calls through VSP
Bear with me this is a bit long winded. I am having some issues making automated outbound calls over Broadvoice from my Asterisk 1.4.2 server. For reference, none of the below issues happen when I make the calls to VoIP phones attached to the Asterisk server. What I am trying to do is call, using a .call file, out via the SIP trunk we have setup, and when the party picks up use AMD to

Weirdness on "hookflash call pickup"
I'm sure dumb when it comes to describing things that happen on my system. I'm making an outbound call on my ATA186 when another call comes in. I first get the nasty CID screech and then the periodic call-waiting tone. So far, so good. Then I hookflash, and just like it's supposed to, the waiting caller is on the line. But during the duration of that conversation, my console

Asterisk T38
In the simplest terms I can think of, I'm going to describe what I want to do and I want to know if it's possible in the current version of asterisk. Can I take a T38 call from an ATA, convert that back to analog and have asterisk screech that out on a POTS line to a remote fax machine. Would it work? And could I receive an incoming fax the same way? Please don't talk to me

system reboot often?
I just deployed * on my home system last Sunday. 2x since then the Zap hardware seems to have malfunctioned on some way. One time it would just screech out one FXS, even though it would ring. The other time * would bridge to my FXO but it never got out on the line. I have a new TDM400 with 3 FXS and 1 FXO. Both times I tried unloading the zaptel drivers (which worked) and reloading them,

Difference between making a call and Originate
When I make a regular call from my SIP phone connected to my Asterisk server I have no issues, however when I make a call using Originate : 'Channel'=>"SIP/1XXXXXXXXXX@sip.broadvoice.com", 'Context'=>'mycontext', 'Exten'=>'899', 'Priority'=>1, 'Callerid'=>'whatever')); It creates a screech sound when the

New Sound Card, Sox Weirdness, Low Pitch ogg's
I recorded some live stuff with a new sound card (which defaults to 48000kHz) and because I didn't set sox right (-t wav wasn't also forced to 44100), I have an ogg that think's it's longer than it really is, and is therefore too low and slow. Is there a quick and dirty hex edit or something I can run it through to fix that, other than decoding and encoding again? Thanks,

high pitched tone and message on answer
Hi, I can dial in from pots using a single port analog fxs card once, but if I hang up and dial again within 10-20 seconds, I get this high pitched tone then a message to enter digits. I had assumed this was the privacy feature, but I don't have it enabled in my extensions. What could be causing this? Also if I dial in again its fine, then not, then fine, etc..... I noticed in debuging that

Render Targets and Pitch Linear Textures in Maxwell/Pascal Question
So I have been going on over the documentation trying to figure out the exact layout of Pitch Linear Textures and find some missing values. First Question: What's the correct layout of pitch linear textures in memory? Is padding of the pitch added at start or at the end? Do they have some kind of header? Currently I see them as a normal texture matrix with just pitch at the end of each row

manual pitch modification
Hello, When used in SILK mode, is there a way to manually modify the pitch (F0) of the speech signal before resynthesizing during Opus decoding? In the below, we have modified the pitch lags of (4), e.g., with a constant scaling factor 0.5 to decrease the pitch of the voice by one octave. However, the result was perceptually the same as without modifying the pitch lags. +---------+

ltp.c best_pitch vs. pitch
Hi there, I was browsing the speex code when I stumbled across something I could not understand the reason, and thought maybe it was a bug? In LTP.C function pitch_search_3tap, after searching for the best pitch candidate, the function returns the last pitch candidate rather than the best pitch candidate, is this normal? kind regards, Sufian

Pitch Control
Hello there folks, i was having a look through bits of the code to see if there was anything to do with pitch control, or perhaps i should call it speed control. For instance, say you took a track off a DVD which is 48khz, forgot to run it through sox to downsample it to 44khz, yet encoded it anyway. It will sound slower (therefore, the pitch has dropped). Whilst dj-ing (though i am no

[MESA PATCH] Fix nv40_miptree_layout pitch
This patch fixes two issues in nv40_miptree_layout. First, pt->width0 is used, which is the size of the whole texture, while width, which is the size of the mipmap level, should be used. Second, the current code does not 64-byte align the pitch of swizzled textures. However, on my NV40 this causes a pgraph error regarding the pitch register (and sometimes a system lockup too), which is fixed
